*The Collette Foundation reaches out
to children worldwide, in hopes to better their lives one project and one
community at a time. The foundation's project in Peru partners Collette
Vacations with Peruvian Hearts, a non-profit organization that strives to
provide education and better opportunities for children living in orphanages in
Peru. Peruvian Hearts was founded by an 11-year-old girl, Ana Dodson, once
an orphan herself, who saw the dire need of orphans in her native land during a
vacation a couple of years after her own adoption. Together the Collette
Foundation and Peruvian Hearts support the Hogar de Mercedes de Jesus Molina
Orphanage. With a vitamin and nutrition program for the children and
funding for structural improvements to the orphanage, the daily lives of the
children at Hogar and its surrounding village will be greatly and positively
affected.
