Saturday, November 3 – Depart Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy

Embark Crown Princess, depart at 6 pm – Our cruise and your Amazing Journey begins today. Get to know your fellow traveling companions as we gather poolside for a sailaway celebration, followed by our Welcome Aboard program and group ice breaker. A group dinner onboard the beautiful Crown Princess will follow.

Sunday, November 4 – Genoa, Italy

Arrive at 7 am, depart at 6 pm – Wandering the narrow alleyways of Genoa is a bit like solving a medieval labyrinth. In the heart of the Italian port city lies Piazza de Ferrari, a main square with a beautiful fountain and a perimeter lined with historic buildings, including the Teatro Carlo Felice, which was destroyed during WWII and subsequently rebuilt. The seaside neighborhood of Boccadasse is vision of pink and yellow buildings that brighten up this lovely fishing village.

Monday, November 5 – Toulon/Provence (La Seyne), France

Arrive at 7 am, depart at 6 pm – We all have images of Provence – the gentle swaying of hillside olive groves, empty sun-swept corridors between picturesque stone buildings: Provence is a region full of sensory romance. With breathtaking vistas, mouthwatering cuisine, and small-town tranquility, this is a city you will fall in love with. The Romans once dominated this area, and many of the towns serve as visual historical accounts of France’s southwestern region, with remnants of Roman, Byzantine, Medieval, and Renaissance structures incorporated into the modern construction of the upscale, but still quaint towns. 

Tuesday, November 6 – Barcelona, Spain

Arrive at 8 am, depart at 11 pm – Barcelona feels a bit surreal – appropriate, since Salvador Dali spent time here and Spanish Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí designed several of the city’s buildings. Stepping into Gaudí’s Sagrada Família is a bit like falling through the looking glass – a journey that you can continue with a visit to Park Güell. Sip sangria at a sidewalk café in Las Ramblas while watching flamboyant street performers, then create your own moveable feast by floating from tapas bar to tapas bar.

Wednesday, November 7 – At Sea

Cruising – Today you’ll get to enjoy all you came on a cruise to do… relax poolside with your new friends while sipping a daiquiri, try your luck in the casino or enjoy the spa. Plus, we’ll have some group activities to make your day even more enjoyable. Our first day at sea will provide lots of opportunities for great times on our floating resort.

Thursday, November 8 – At Sea

Cruising – Participate in wine tasting or yoga – the day is yours. Later, join us for “Jacuzz-a-Palooza” with your new friends. Tonight, we’ll come together for an Amazing Journeys cocktail party, followed by an amazing show in the theater and late night dancing.

Friday, November 9 – At Sea

Cruising – Continue to explore all that our ship has to offer.  Take in a lecture, learn a new skill or take time for yourself in the spa. We’ll join together for our Amazing Journeys community Shabbat service at sea, followed by a group dinner.

Saturday, November 10 – Azores Islands (Ponta Delgada), Portugal

Arrive at 9 am, depart at 5 pm – Ponta Delgada, on São Miguel Island, is the capital of the Azores archipelago of Portugal. This remote archipelago abounds with adventures. From world-class whale watching, sailing, diving, hiking and canyoning, there are plenty of opportunities on the water. Or, explore the island by horseback or on bike. Then there is the landscape itself: a wonderland of seething mud pots, fantastical caverns and vivid crater lakes that speak of a volcanic origin. Tonight, we join together, recapping our first amazing week.

Sunday, November 11 – At Sea

Cruising – Take the opportunity to sleep in and enjoy breakfast in bed. Then, spend the day however you want.  Take a tour of the kitchen, learn about life on the ship and watch a movie with your fellow cruisers.

Monday, November 12 – At Sea

Cruising – Pull up a chair and spend the morning catching up on that new book that you haven’t had time to read at home. Take a dance class in the afternoon and recharge in the spa before our AJ cocktail party.

Tuesday, November 13 – At Sea

Cruising – There are always new things to do on our floating resort. Enjoy a leisurely meal in one of the specialty dining restaurants and try your luck playing Bingo.

Wednesday, November 14 – At Sea

Cruising – Meet up with your friends in the state-of-the-art exercise facility for a yoga or pilates class at sea.  We will meet by the pool for more relaxing time under the blue skies. Gather together this evening for a pre-dinner gathering and pick a new favorite drink.

Thursday, November 15 – At Sea

Cruising – Spend the day relaxing poolside with your friends, enjoy a massage at the spa, participate in AJ Book Club – choose to do it all, or nothing at all. It’s your vacation, and we want you to enjoy every minute of it! 

Friday, November 16 – At Sea

Cruising – Take in the last experiences that you have not yet had the chance to try, like line-dancing, mixology or an art auction. Tonight, join together with others from our group for our Amazing Journeys Shabbat service and Farewell.

Saturday, November 17 – Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Arrive at 6 am – Our cruise ends here. You’ll take home memories of your Transatlantic cruise, plus friendships to last a lifetime.

After April 30, 2018, prices will increase $100. A deposit of $550 ($1100 for single occupancy) is due with your reservation. Final payment is due on August 15, 2018.

Stateroom options:

• Interior stateroom is approximately 158 to 162 square feet
• Ocean View stateroom is approximately 146 to 206 square feet with a window
• Balcony stateroom is approximately 214 to 222 square feet, including balcony
• Mini Suite stateroom is approximately 323 square feet, including a separate sitting area with sofa bed and balcony
• Larger suites are available upon request

^Roommate matching for Mini Suite staterooms is not available, but double occupancy is an option for those coming with a roommate.

Cabins are assigned at time of registration. Those who sign up first receive priority cabin location.

Please note – This is a group exclusive vacation package. We are unable to make any of our package components available to anyone who is not part of our Amazing Journeys group.

Cancellation Policy for Cruise and Pre-Cruise Packages: Prior to May 2, 2018, there is a $100 penalty for cancellation. From May 3 – August 15, 2018, the cancellation penalty is the amount of the deposit for the cruise and pre-cruise package. From August 16 – September 26, 2018, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the total for the cruise and pre-cruise packages. Cancellations made on September 27, 2018 or after and “no-shows” will receive no refund.  There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation after the start of the cruise and pre-cruise.

Travel Protection: Amazing Journeys recommends you purchase Travel Protection. Information will be sent with your trip confirmation.

Proof of Citizenship: All passengers must present a valid passport (valid for six months beyond the last date of travel) to board the vessel. There is no visa required for US, Canadian or UK Citizens to all of the countries we are visiting. If you are from a country other than those mentioned, please check with the Embassies of Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and the US to find out if visas are necessary.

Dining Preference: Late Dining has been reserved for our group on this sailing.  In addition to the main restaurant, there are several specialty restaurants (fees apply), a buffet and room service.

Currency Fluctuations: In case of currency fluctuations greater than 3% on our pre-cruise package, we reserve the right to adjust our prices accordingly in order to operate the tour.

Port Taxes, Fuel Surcharges, Government Fees and Gratuities: Port taxes, government fees and gratuities have all been included in the rate. Port taxes, government fees and gratuities are based on September 2017 rates and are subject to change.  Should oil costs go above $65 per barrel, and the cruise line add fees, Amazing Journeys reserves the right to add them to the cost of the package.  The cost will be no more than $10 per guest per day.

Air and Airport Transfers: Airfare has not been included in the cruise rates.  Details will be sent with your cruise confirmation. Information on optional transfers to and from the ship will be sent closer to the sailing date.
Cruise and Pre-Cruise – Fly to Rome (FCO), fly home from Ft. Lauderdale (FLL) or Miami (MIA).  Please do not purchase your air until after receiving your confirmation which will have specific flight perimeters.
