Day 1 – Thursday, December 22 – Ft. Lauderdale

Embark Celebrity Edge, depart at 4 pm – Your Amazing Journeys cruise to the Panama Canal & Caribbean begins today! This evening, get to know your fellow travelers at our Amazing Journeys Welcome & Orientation and Hanukkah candle lighting, followed by a group dinner onboard the beautiful Celebrity Edge.

Day 2 – Friday, December 23 – At Sea

Cruising – Today you’ll get to enjoy all you came on a cruise to do… relax poolside with your new friends while sipping a daiquiri, try your luck in the casino or enjoy the spa. Plus, we’ll have some group activities to make your day even more enjoyable. Our day at sea will provide lots of opportunities for great times on our floating resort. Tonight, join us for an Amazing Journeys Shabbat and Hanukkah gathering, followed by a group dinner. 

Day 3 – Saturday, December 24 – At Sea

Cruising – Our day at sea will provide lots of opportunities for group fun. Enjoy a massage at the spa, participate in wine tasting or yoga – the day is yours to recharge. Later, join us for Jacuzz-a-Palooza with some pretty amazing friends. There are a number of specialty dining options onboard and tonight you’ll have the opportunity to experience one for yourself, if you so choose! Tonight, join us for an Amazing Journeys Hanukkah celebration.

Day 4 – Sunday, December 25 – Cartagena, Colombia

Arrive at 7 am, depart at 3 pm – Cobbled streets, balconies with blooming bougainvillea, and pastel plazas make Cartagena one of Latin America’s most photogenic cities. But it’s not just another pretty seaport. Founded in 1533, this Spanish-Colonial city is steeped in history. Its location made it a popular port for plunderers and pirates. Today thrill-seekers will find a perfect mix of old and new with a twist of island attitude. Explore this beautiful city before joining your friends back onboard for drinks at the Sunset Bar. Later, it’s the last night of Hanukkah where we’ll share the light of the Hanukkiah.  This evening, partake in a variety of activities and dinner on our floating resort.

Day 5 – Monday, December 26 – Panama Canal Lock Cruising – Colon, Panama

Lock Cruising arrive at 6 am, depart at 3 pm – Colon, Panama, arrive at 5 pm, depart at 9 pm – The canal is a marvel of engineering, but the area is also a home for sloths, eagles, ocelots and toucans, thanks to a lush rainforest environment and tropical temperatures. Today we visit one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World as you learn about the history and importance of the Panama Canal.  One of the highlights will be cruising through Panama Canals’ Gatun locks, the first set of locks on the Atlantic side.  This evening, we sail to the port city of Colon, Panama. Onboard, we’ll come together for an Amazing Journeys cocktail party, followed by an amazing show in the theater and late night dancing.

Day 6 – Tuesday, December 27 – At Sea

Cruising –  Spend the day relaxing poolside with your friends while enjoying your favorite beverage. Join us for Team Trivia or a Slot Tournament in the Casino. Enjoy learning about the different destinations with on board enrichment programs or de-stress with a hot stone massage.  Choose to do it all, or nothing at all.  It’s your vacation, and we want you to enjoy it as you please! There are a number of specialty dining options onboard and tonight you’ll have the opportunity to experience one for yourself, if you choose!

Day 7 – Wednesday, December 28 – Oranjestad, Aruba

Arrive at 8 am, depart at 11 pm – Aruba provides lots of fun whether on the beach, in the water or riding a jeep out into the desert – yup, you heard that right, Aruba has a desert! Snorkelers flock to Aruba for its vibrant coral reefs and neon tropical fish. Uncover local crafts in the local marketplace or enjoy French fare with a Caribbean twist. Catch sunset on this beautiful island and enjoy the nightlife.

Day 8 – Thursday, December 29 – Kralendijk, Bonaire

Arrive at 8 am, depart at 6 pm – Kralendijk is the sleepy capital of Bonaire, an island in the Dutch Antilles. Kralendijk is lined with delightfully pastel stucco houses in pinks, oranges and lime greens. Famous for its diving, the lively world under the sea is the allure of this laidback island. Cruises to Bonaire also offer such treats as flamingos, hiking and the only barefoot casino in the Caribbean. Head downtown to the Rincon section for a great selection of restaurants with menus offering authentic local fare.  Back onboard, enjoy sunset as we sail away.  After, the ship is our playground as we enjoy the many activities available onboard.

Day 9 – Friday, December 30 – Willemstad, Curacao

Arrive at 7 am, depart at 5 pm –  Experience a traditional Dutch cityscape painted in distinctly Caribbean colors and an island steeped in Jewish history. We’ll show you the magnificent synagogue and Jewish cemetery. We’ll learn about the liquor named for this island, Blue Curacao and it’s Jewish roots as we visit Landhuis Chobolobo, a 19th-century historic mansion and the home to the famous liqueur.  You’ll want to stroll the magnificent waterfront, admire the colonial buildings, and explore the backstreet cafés, shops, museums, and galleries of Willemstad. Visit 17th-century Fort Amsterdam in the historic area, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After a day of discovery, sit back, relax, and watch the sun set. Curaçao cuisine incorporates Indonesian, as well as Dutch traditions. Explore Willemstad’s vibrant open-air markets where you’ll find traditional blue Delft figurines and wheels of cheese. Browse the Floating Market, the New Market, and the Old Market, too. Join the group this evening for Shabbat, followed by dinner together.

Day 10 – Saturday, December 31 – At Sea

Cruising – While at sea, take the time to recharge before the next adventure. Lounge by the pool, be spoiled at the spa or explore the venues on-board. This evening, celebrate New Year’s Eve on board our floating resort where parties abound! Grab a glass of champagne, hop on the dance floor with your friends and celebrate sailing into 2023! 

Day 11 – Sunday, January 1 – At Sea

Cruising – Today is the last day to soak in your cruise experience so take it all in on this final day at sea and start the new year off on the right foot.  Enjoy the beauty as we sail through the ocean and come together this evening for our Amazing Journeys Farewell event before our final group dinner.

Day 12 – Monday, January 2 – Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Arrive at 6 am – Our cruise ends here. You’ll take home memories of amazing sites and scenes from the Panama Canal and the Caribbean, plus friendships to last a lifetime.

• Concierge Class stateroom has approximately 243 square feet of living space with a 42 square foot veranda with the following amenities: sparkling wine upon request, daily delectable delights, personalized concierge service, enhanced room service breakfast menu, exclusive Concierge Class lunch.
• Aqua Class Infinite Veranda stateroom is approximately 202 square feet with a 42 square foot veranda with the following amenities: complimentary fitness classes, unlimited access to the SEA Thermal Suite, complimentary dining at Blu restaurant, personal spa concierge, preferential rates on AquaClass spa packages, daily in-room bottled water service, healthy room-service menu options and a yoga mat for use on board.

*”Cruise With Confidence”: Once final payment is received, the Celebrity “Cruise with Confidence” Program takes effect for those who have made their original reservation by March 30, 2022. With this program, you may cancel your cruise for any reason up to 48 hours prior to sailing and get a Future Cruise Credit good until 12 months from the date of original sailing. If you have booked a shared stateroom and you are no longer able to travel, your Future Cruise Credit will be reduced the amount necessary to convert the remaining passenger in the cabin to a single occupancy. This program applies to the cruise portion only.

Cancellation Policy for Cruise and Pre-Cruise: Prior to August 1, 2022, there is a $75 penalty for cancellation. From August 2 – September 19, 2022, the cancellation penalty is the amount of the deposit for the cruise and pre-cruise package. From September 20 – October 3, 2022, the cancellation penalty is 25% of the total for the cruise and pre-cruise package. From October 4 – 20, 2022, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the total for the cruise and pre-cruise package. From October 21 – November 17, 2022, the cancellation penalty is 75% of the total for the cruise and pre-cruise package. Cancellations made on November 18, 2022 or after and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation after the start of the cruise and pre-cruise.

Travel Protection: A Travel Protection Plan is highly recommended. Information will be included in your confirmation letter.

Passport & Visa Requirements: All passengers must present a valid passport (valid for six months beyond the last date of travel) to board the vessel. There is no visa required for US, Canadian or UK Citizens to all of the countries we are visiting. If you are from a country other than those mentioned, please check with the Embassies of the Netherlands, Panama and Colombia to find out if a visa is necessary. Please note that visa information is subject to change. 

COVID Precautions: Until further notice, we require you to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 at least two weeks before departure, and a booster is recommended to keep you healthy and safe while traveling but at this time, not required. Please send us a copy of your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card with the CDC logo by email or fax to Amazing Journeys. We do not test for COVID-19 or any other diseases. It is up to each traveler to be aware of any requirements or changes to state and country mandates and airline requirements as they are changing often. Depending upon the situation at the time of this trip and the destination, some cruise components may be modified, and masks may be required as determined by the CDC.

Port Taxes, Government Fees & Gratuities: Port taxes, government fees and gratuities have all been included in the rate. Port taxes, government fees and gratuities are subject to change.  Should oil costs go above $65 per barrel and the cruise lines add fees, Amazing Journeys reserves the right to add them to the cost of the package.  The cost will be no more than $10 per guest per day.

Air & Transfers: Airfare has not been included in the cruise rates.  Optional transfers to and from the ship will be available and details sent closer to the sailing date. We recommend using FLL (Ft. Lauderdale – 10 minutes to the pier) or MIA (Miami – 25 minutes to the pier) airports.

Dining: Late Dining has been reserved for our group on this sailing.  In addition to the main restaurant, there are several specialty restaurants (fees apply), a buffet and room service.
