Arrive in Rome and make your way to the hotel. Once you check-in, rest of the day is up to you – explore the area, take an optional tour, relax after your international flight or indulge in local delicacies! This evening, enjoy a group dinner together. (D)
Friday, November 2
After a group breakfast at the hotel, you’ll have time to explore the beauty that Rome has to offer. We’ll be offering optional excursions that provide you the opportunity to explore Rome, whether this is your first visit or you’ve been here many times before. (B)
For those arriving today for the 1-night package, arrive in Rome and transfer on your own to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore and acclimate to the new time zone.
Saturday, November 3
This morning, we will have a group breakfast at the hotel then a tour highlighting Rome. After, we’ll transfer to our new home for the next two weeks, Crown Princess! (B)

For those who want to arrive prior to the start of the pre-cruise, we have a limited number of rooms held at our group hotel. Please note – there will be no Amazing Journeys staff present nor will there be programming on these days.
We are not able to match roommates for extra night stays.

Cancellation Policy for Cruise and Pre-Cruise Packages: Prior to May 2, 2018, there is a $100 penalty for cancellation. From May 3 – August 15, 2018, the cancellation penalty is the amount of the deposit for the cruise and pre-cruise package. From August 16 – September 26, 2018, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the total for the cruise and pre-cruise packages. Cancellations made on September 27, 2018 or after and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation after the start of the cruise and pre-cruise.
Travel Protection: Amazing Journeys recommends you purchase Travel Protection. Information will be sent with your trip confirmation.
Proof of Citizenship: All passengers must present a valid passport (valid for six months beyond the last date of travel) to board the vessel. There is no visa required for US, Canadian or UK Citizens to all of the countries we are visiting. If you are from a country other than those mentioned, please check with the Embassies of Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and the US to find out if visas are necessary.
Dining Preference: Late Dining has been reserved for our group on this sailing. In addition to the main restaurant, there are several specialty restaurants (fees apply), a buffet and room service.
Currency Fluctuations: In case of currency fluctuations greater than 3% on our pre-cruise package, we reserve the right to adjust our prices accordingly in order to operate the tour.
Port Taxes, Fuel Surcharges, Government Fees and Gratuities: Port taxes, government fees and gratuities have all been included in the rate. Port taxes, government fees and gratuities are based on September 2017 rates and are subject to change. Should oil costs go above $65 per barrel, and the cruise line add fees, Amazing Journeys reserves the right to add them to the cost of the package. The cost will be no more than $10 per guest per day.
Air and Airport Transfers: Airfare has not been included in the cruise rates. Details will be sent with your cruise confirmation. Information on optional transfers to and from the ship will be sent closer to the sailing date.
Cruise and Pre-Cruise – Fly to Rome (FCO), fly home from Ft. Lauderdale (FLL) or Miami (MIA). Please do not purchase your air until after receiving your confirmation which will have specific flight perimeters.
