Spend the day at the beach, go whale watching or enjoy the beautiful drive to Hana. This evening, you’ll have the opportunity to explore another part of the “Valley Isle” of Maui, the old royal capital of Lahina. Once home of the largest whaling fleets, this is the perfect setting to stroll through the quaint historic streets of this seaside town. Shops and restaurants line the waterfront and it’s a great place to soak in a little bit of Hawaii’s past.
Monday, December 25 – Kahului (Maui)
Depart at 6 pm – Next to Waikiki, Maui is Hawaii’s most popular destination. The 727-square-mile island has three peaks that are more than a mile high, and is the result of a marriage of two shield volcanoes, Haleakala and Puu Kukui, that spilled enough lava between them to create a valley. Visit Mt. Haleakala to see amazing views of the island and soak in the aloha spirit. This evening, join your fellow travelers at one of the many specialty restaurants onboard. Tonight, join us for drinks as we enjoy the warm tropical breezes.
Tuesday, December 26 – Hilo
Arrive at 8 am, depart at 6 pm – Hawaii’s largest metropolis after Honolulu is a quaint, misty, flower-filled city of Victorian houses overlooking a half-moon bay, with a restored historic downtown and a clear view of Mauna Loa’s often snowcapped peak. Experience the power of nature at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where Mount Kilauea remains active. In the heart of the Big Island’s lush rainforest lies the remote and stunning Wai’po Valley (Valley of the Kings). Enjoy dancing the night away onboard our floating resort.
Wednesday, December 27 – Kona
Arrive at 7 am, depart at 5:30 pm – Kailua “Kona” is a small town on the Leeward side of the big island of Hawaii. It was the home of King Kamehameha l. Balmy trade winds bring the sweet scent of the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean to your senses here. The sunny Kona District stretches for about 60 miles from Kona International Airport to beyond Kealakekua Bay on the Big Island’s lava-lined western coast. Along this expansive area, you’ll find everything from coffee farms to historic Hawaiian landmarks and is the site of the most famous Iron Man competition. Join up for an Amazing Journeys cocktail party and try another specialty restaurant on our beautiful ship.
Thursday, December 28 – Nawiliwili (Kauai)

All the elements are here: moody rain forests, majestic cliffs, jagged peaks, emerald valleys, palm trees swaying in the breeze, daily rainbows, and some of the most spectacular golden beaches you’ll find anywhere. And since no trip to Hawaii would be complete without a Luau, join in on a fun evening including music, hula, mai tai’s, traditional Hawaiian foods and storytelling of the people of the Pacific, along with a sunset you’ll never find anywhere else!
Friday, December 29 – Nawiliwili (Kauai)

The terrain ranges from the volcanic slopes of Mt. Waialeale and the desert-like beauty of Waimea Canyon to the Wailua River’s lush Fern Grotto. Tonight, join together with others from our group for a Shabbat service at sea followed by our Amazing Journeys farewell event.
