Sunday, February 9 – Chiang Mai – Phuket
Spend the morning in Chiang Mai before our afternoon flight to Phuket. Upon arrival in Phuket, we’ll check into our beautiful beachfront hotel. This evening, enjoy a fun and lively area of Phuket where there are lots of options for dining, nightlife and people watching.
Monday, February 10 – Phuket
Enjoy a buffet breakfast at our hotel, followed by a full day of sea canoeing in Phang Nga Bay. We will drive to Ao Por pier for our Phang Nga Bay Sea Canoe Tour – a must-do in Phuket! After leaving Ao Por on a comfortable boat en route to the bay, you will have the opportunity to explore sea caves and tunnels as well as lagoons by special ‘sea-canoes’. Discover a unique and hidden world as sturdy canoes weave their way through a network of brilliant crystalline limestone caves, revealing the mysterious hidden world of the “Hongs” (these are collapsed cave systems inside the rock). Our guides will paddle you in our Sea Explorer canoes to enter the caves and hongs, while you experience the stunning islands of Phang Nga Bay.
Upon returning to the boat, we will enjoy a Thai buffet lunch on board while slowly cruising to another island, where we continue to explore more caves before we head back to the pier and transfer back to our hotel.
Tonight is a free night to enjoy Phuket as you wish. (B, L)
Tuesday, February 11 – Phuket
Today is a free day which can be used for relaxing at our hotel’s spa, sitting in the infinity pool or relaxing on the beach. You may also choose to do some optional sightseeing to further explore Phuket.
Tonight we’ll enjoy a group dinner together before heading home tomorrow. (B, D)
Wednesday, February 12 – Phuket – Home
This morning, enjoy a buffet breakfast at our hotel before we head to the airport for your flight home and memories of an amazing journey. (B)

These rates are based on an all-inclusive, custom-designed package that differs from offerings seen in public advertising. We are unable to make any of our package components available to anyone who is not part of our Amazing Journeys group.

Cancellation Policy: From the time of deposit until July 11, 2019, there is a $100 penalty for cancellation. From July 12 – November 6, 2019 the cancellation penalty is the amount of the deposit. From November 7, 2019 – January 6, 2020, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the total package price including the post-tour package to Phuket. From January 7, 2020 until the day of travel, the cancellation penalty is 100% of the total package price including the post-tour package. Cancellations made on the day of departure and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation after the start of the journey.
Travel Protection: Amazing Journeys recommends you purchase Travel Protection. Information will be sent with your trip confirmation.
Flights: One flight segment within Thailand is included in our pricing. One flight segment is included on our post-tour package to Phuket. International flights are not included. It is important that you not purchase airfare until you receive a confirmation letter from Amazing Journeys which will contain specific flight parameters.
Transfers: The meeting location for the tour begins and ends at our starting and ending hotels. Transfers from and to the airport are not included. Further details will be provided in the weeks prior to the tour departure.
Taxes and Gratuities: All taxes, government fees and gratuities have been included in the cost of the tour package. These include baggage handling (one bag per person), local guides and drivers. Taxes, surcharges and government fees are subject to change.
Passport and Visa: A passport is necessary to travel on this itinerary. It must be valid for six months beyond the last day of the trip. There are no visas required at this time for entry into Thailand for US, Canadian and UK citizens. If you are from a country other than those mentioned, please check with the Royal Thai Embassy to find out if a visa is necessary.
