Day 1 – Saturday, October 11 – Overnight Flight
Set off on a rollicking journey when you head to the Emerald Isle. In Ireland, rolling hills boast forty brilliant shades of green and the people are so kind, you instantly feel welcome. Your comprehensive tour visits Dublin, Kinsale, Killarney and Ennis and explores Ireland’s natural beauty, rich history and, of course, its hospitable culture.
Day 2 – Sunday, October 12 – Dublin, Ireland – Tour Begins
Begin your tour in the lively city of Dublin. Ireland’s dynamic capital is as fun as it is diverse – with local pubs, cafes, museums and attractions comprising its colorful canvas. This evening, join your fellow travelers for a group welcome and orientation before a welcome dinner to toast the beginning of an amazing journey. (D)
Day 3 – Monday, October 13 – Dublin
Today, see Dublin’s many gems on a sightseeing tour. See St. Patrick’s Cathedral, O’Connell Street, Grafton Street, Phoenix Park and the city’s magnificent rows of stately Georgian town homes. Afterwards, enter the scholarly grounds of Trinity College to view the Book of Kells, one of medieval Ireland’s religious masterpieces. We’ll visit the Dublin Hebrew Congregation and the Irish Jewish Museum to learn about the Jewish community in Ireland. Then it’s time for a pint! End your tour at the Guinness Storehouse where you will learn about the brewing process that creates this beloved beverage. Discover the training and technique needed to pour the perfect pint and then sit back and enjoy one. The remainder of your day is at leisure to relax in one of the world’s most vibrant cities. Later this evening join us for a Pub Crawl through Dublin. Visit a few of Dublin’s favorite pubs and enjoy the fantastic local Irish music. (B)
Day 4 – Tuesday, October 14 – Dublin – Kilkenny – Kinsale
Travel to Kilkenny to explore the medieval atmosphere of this city situated on the banks of the River Nore. Pay a visit to the mighty Kilkenny Castle to see why the city is regarded as Ireland’s Medieval capital. Later, arrive in the charming fishing town of Kinsale, known for its spectacular restaurants and art galleries. This evening, it’s Diner’s Choice… tonight’s dinner is included and you’ll choose the perfect spot from a “menu” of Kinsale’s great restaurants. (B, D)
Day 5 – Wednesday, October 15 – Kinsale – Blarney Stone – Killarney
Today, enjoy a little “luck of the Irish” when you visit the historic Blarney Castle and embrace the opportunity to kiss the Blarney Stone. Legend has it that those who kiss the stone are bestowed with the gift of eloquence. In Killarney, get ready to take an old-fashioned, time-honored Irish jaunting car ride. A tour of the beautiful Muckross House and Gardens offers a glimpse into the elegant lifestyle of the Victorian gentry. Imagine what their days were like as you explore the perfectly restored rooms of this magnificent mansion or stroll in the lush gardens, spectacularly adorned with blooms. (B, D)
Day 6 – Thursday, October 16 – Killarney – Dingle Peninsula – Killarney
Set off this morning to follow what is perhaps Ireland’s most majestic coastal route – the stunning Dingle Peninsula. Stop at the Gap of Dunloe where you can shop for traditional Irish goods handcrafted by local artisans. Travel to the town of Dingle and then drive the beautiful Slea Head Road, where some of the country’s most spectacular landscapes are found. Later this evening get ready for another pub crawl and make your way through a few pubs in Killarney searching for great music and culture. (B)
Day 7 – Friday, October 17 – Killarney – Adare – Ennis
This morning, travel to Adare, and discover for yourself why it’s referred to as “Ireland’s prettiest village.” Drive through Limerick as you make your way to Rathbaun Farm. Experience the customs and daily life of a traditional Irish family and see how a typical Irish farm operates. After a guided tour of the farm, roll your sleeves up and join the farmers for a hands-on scone making class. Enjoy your creation with a delicious cup of tea! Later arrive in Ennis, a lovely medieval town with great shops and restaurants. Tonight, join us for a traditional Amazing Journeys Shabbat Service before our group dinner. (B, D)
Day 8 – Saturday, October 18 – Ennis – Cliffs of Moher – Galway – Ennis
An exciting day awaits. Journey to the stunning, 700-foot-high Cliffs of Moher for awe-inspiring views of the mighty Atlantic and the Aran Islands. Stand tall as the ocean winds blow in from half a world away. Then, travel through the vast limestone landscape of the Burren, known for its stark beauty and Neolithic tombs. Continue past scenic countryside into bustling Galway, where a brief city tour introduces “The City of Tribes.” (B)
Day 9 – Sunday, October 19 – Ennis – Tullamore/Kilbeggan – Dublin
Today, set off with your travel companions for a cross-country journey to Irish Whiskey territory! The ancient towns of Tullamore and Kilbeggan have long been associated with the whiskey industry. Become engaged in the process of whiskey making and enjoy a tasting of the final product during a visit to one of these historic distilleries. We arrive at our hotel in the late afternoon. Tonight, join your fellow travelers for a farewell dinner at Dublin’s oldest pub, the Brazen Head. (B, D)
Day 10 – Monday, October 20 – Dublin – Tour Ends
Our tour comes to a close in Dublin. You can fly home at any time today. (B)

Cancellation Policy: From the time of deposit until May 11, 2014 there is a $75.00 penalty for cancellation. From May 12 – August 5, 2014, the cancellation penalty is $350.00. From August 6 – September 4, 2014, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the package price. From September 5, 2014 until the day of travel, the cancellation penalty is 100% of the total package price. Cancellations made on the day of departure and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation by the passenger after the start of the journey.

Flights and Transfers: Airfare is not included with the tour cost. The tour begins and ends at our hotel in Dublin, Ireland. Passengers are responsible for getting themselves to and from the airport at the start and end of the tour.
Passport and Visa Requirements: A Passport is necessary to travel on this itinerary. It must be valid for six months beyond the last day of the trip. At this time, no visas are necessary to enter Ireland for those from the US, Canada or EU countries. If you are traveling to Ireland and are a citizen of another country, please check the website for the Embassy of Ireland to see if a visa is necessary.
