This trip is for you if: This trip is for you if you’re an on-the-go traveler – you don’t want to miss a thing, walking and standing for 2-3 hours isn’t a big deal and you’re able to walk at a moderate pace, covering several miles, hills and uneven surfaces. Walking four miles throughout the day is very doable and you can easily climb stairs. You can navigate hills, uneven/wet ground and walking through the forest and over roots independently, climb up and into various modes of transportation including various-sized boats. You can expect several early mornings and some longer days balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own adventure. When traveling in Brazil you will encounter hot, humid weather.  In the Amazon Rainforest, we are likely to encounter rain.  You must be in good health and prepare properly. This trip is not a fit for those who require assistance with walking or who travel on mobility devices. As this is a group tour, individual accommodations cannot be made for those who are not able to keep up with the group.  If you have questions or concerns, please be in contact with Amazing Journeys before registering for the trip.

Twin Accommodations: Twin accommodations are available if you and a friend are traveling together.  When signing up for twin occupancy, should one of the roommates cancel, the remaining traveling roommate will assume the cost of a single supplement. Flights: It is important that you not purchase airfare until you receive a Confirmation Letter from Amazing Journeys, which will contain specific flight parameters.  For this itinerary, flight parameters are as follows:
Arrive into Iguaçu Falls on February 27 – Arrive in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil (airport code IGU) at any time on February 27.  Our program will begin that evening. Please note – there are three different airports that service this area, located in three different countries. Flying into the wrong airport will place you in a different country.
Depart from Manaus on March 8 – Our ship docks in Manaus at 8:00am today.  Your flight can depart from Manaus, Brazil (airport code MAO) any time after 11:30am today.

Transfers: Arrival transfers are included between Iguaçu Falls airport (IGU) and our group hotel on February 26 (if early night hotel stay is booked by Amazing Journeys) and February 27.  A departure transfer is included between our ship and the Manaus airport (MAO) on March 8.  A surcharge may be added for those arriving or departing outside of typical arrival and departure hours, and will not be offered at all if you are arriving into or departing from an airport other than those listed above.

Baggage: Regardless of what your international air carrier permits, each traveler will be limited to one checked suitcase and one carry-on bag. Your carry-on bag must fit up on the bus (not a roller-board) and cannot go under the bus.  We recommend using a backpack, tote bag or purse.  If your luggage exceeds these limitations, our tour operator charges $12 per additional bag for each hotel and that cost will be passed along to you.

Credit Card Payments: Rates listed are for final payments made by check. After the initial deposit, all payments made by credit card will have a 3% credit card fee.

Fuel Surcharge: Should oil costs go above $65 per barrel and the suppliers add fees, Amazing Journeys reserves the right to add them to the cost of the package.

Exchange Rate: In the case of currency fluctuations greater than 3%, we reserve the right to adjust our pricing accordingly in order that we may be able to operate the tours effectively.

This tour must have a minimum of 18 travelers to operate.  We will have a maximum of 24 travelers.
