Day 1 – Monday, August 6 – Depart Amsterdam, Netherlands
Embark Celebrity Eclipse, depart at 5 pm – Our cruise and your Amazing Journey begins today. Get to know your fellow traveling companions as we gather poolside for a sailaway celebration, followed by our Welcome Aboard program and group ice breaker. A group dinner onboard the beautiful Celebrity Eclipse will follow.
Day 2 – Tuesday, August 7 – At Sea
Cruising – Today you’ll get to enjoy all you came on a cruise to do… relax poolside with your new friends while sipping a daiquiri, try your luck in the casino or enjoy the spa. Plus, we’ll have some group activities to make your day even more enjoyable. Our day at sea will provide lots of opportunities for great times on our floating resort. Tonight, we’ll come together for an Amazing Journeys cocktail party, followed by an amazing show in the theater and late night dancing.
Day 3 – Wednesday, August 8 – Inverness/Loch Ness, Scotland
Arrive at 7 am, depart at 5 pm – Located in the Scottish Highlands and steeped in legend, this area will provide you with history lessons galore! It was here that Shakespeare’s tragic hero Macbeth murdered the good King Duncan, and it is here that the legend of the Loch Ness Monster lives on and on. This area has a stark beauty and romantic quality that we know you will treasure.
Day 4 – Thursday, August 9 – Edinburgh, Scotland
Arrive at 9 am – Castles, Cathedrals and whiskey, this Scottish city has it all. Walk through the streets of Edinburgh and take in the Fringe Festival, a month long celebration of art and performance. Tonight, you’ll have the chance to watch the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, a performance at the Edinburgh Castle where you can expect an unforgettable evening of music, ceremony, theater and dance.
Day 5 – Friday, August 10 – Edinburgh, Scotland
Depart at 6 pm – Wander through this storybook medieval city or tour the countryside and the city where you’ll learn about the history that put this town on the map. Tonight, join together with others from our group for a Kabbalat Shabbat service at sea.
Day 6 – Saturday, August 11 – At Sea
Cruising – Our day at sea will provide lots of opportunities for group fun. Enjoy a massage at the spa, participate in wine tasting or yoga – the day is yours to recharge. Later, join us for “Jacuzz-a-Palooza” with your new friends.
Day 7 – Sunday, August 12 – Belfast, Northern Ireland
Arrive at 9:30 am, depart at 8 pm – Whether you want to explore the birthplace of the legend of the Titanic, take part in a pub crawl, see some wonderful architecture, or learn about Northern Ireland’s Jewish history, we know you’ll enjoy your day spent here.
Day 8 – Monday, August 13 – Liverpool, England
Arrive at 6 am, depart at 3:45 pm – Liverpool’s fortunes have historically been tied to shipping. But imports and exports like sugar, spice and tobacco pale in comparison with Liverpool’s most famous export of all—the Beatles. Our optional tour today will take you to see some sights and sounds of The Beatles.
Day 9 – Tuesday, August 14 – Dublin, Ireland
Arrive at 5:30 am, depart at 11:59 pm – One of the larger cities we’ll be visiting along this itinerary, Dublin has much to offer. From the Guinness Brewery, to Trinity College with its famous Book of Kells, Dublin has earned the recent reputation for being one of the hippest cities in all of Europe.
Day 10 – Wednesday, August 15 – Cork (Cobh), Ireland
Arrive at 10:30 am, depart at 6 pm – Ireland’s second city is first in every important respect – at least according to the locals, who cheerfully refer to it as the ‘real capital of Ireland’. This liberal, youthful and cosmopolitan city was badly hit by economic recession but is now busily reinventing itself with spruced-up streets, revitalized stretches of waterfront, and an artisan coffee bar on almost every corner. Still happily steeped in tradition, it’s easy to find snug pubs with live-music sessions, restaurants dishing up top-quality local produce and a genuinely proud welcome from the locals.
Day 11 – Thursday, August 16 – St. Peter Port, Channel Islands
Arrive at 10:30 am, depart at 6 pm – The British Crown dependency of Guernsey is located in the English Channel, close to the shores of Normandy. This picturesque island town offers scenic beauty, shopping for antiques along the quaint streets of St. Peter Port, hiking, biking and many photo opportunities.
Day 12 – Friday, August 17 – At Sea
Cruising – Spend the day relaxing poolside with your friends, enjoy a massage at the spa, participate in pilates – choose to do it all, or nothing at all. It’s your vacation, and we want you to enjoy every minute of it! Tonight, join together with others from our group for our Amazing Journeys Farewell.
Day 13 – Saturday, August 18 – Amsterdam, Netherlands
Arrive at 6 am – Our cruise ends here. You’ll take home memories of your experience in the British Isles, plus friendships to last a lifetime.

Cancellation Policy for Cruise and Pre-Cruise Packages: Prior to April 9, 2018, there is a $100 penalty for cancellation. From April 10 – May 8, 2018, the cancellation penalty is the amount of the deposit for the cruise and pre-cruise package. From May 9 – June 7, 2018, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the total for the cruise and pre-cruise package. From June 8 – July 5, 2018, the cancellation penalty is 75% of the total for the cruise and pre-cruise package. Cancellations made on July 6, 2017 or after and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation after the start of the cruise and pre-cruise.
Travel Protection: Amazing Journeys recommends you purchase Travel Protection. Information will be sent with your trip confirmation.
Proof of Citizenship: All passengers must present a valid passport (valid for six months beyond the last date of travel) to board the vessel. There is no visa required for US, Canadian or UK Citizens to all of the countries we are visiting. If you are from a country other than those mentioned, please check with the Embassies of the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Netherlands to find out if a visa is necessary.
Dining Preference: Late Dining has been reserved for our group on this sailing. In addition to the main restaurant, there are several specialty restaurants (fees apply), a buffet and room service.
Currency Fluctuations: In case of currency fluctuations greater than 3% on our pre-cruise package, we reserve the right to adjust our prices accordingly in order to operate the tour.
Port Taxes, Fuel Surcharges, Government Fees and Gratuities: Port taxes, government fees and gratuities have all been included in the rate. Port taxes, government fees and gratuities are based on September 2017 rates and are subject to change. Should oil costs go above $65 per barrel, and the cruise line add fees, Amazing Journeys reserves the right to add them to the cost of the package. The cost will be no more than $10 per guest per day.
Air and Airport Transfers: Airfare has not been included in the cruise rates. Details will be sent with your cruise confirmation. Information on optional transfers to and from the ship will be sent closer to the sailing date. It is important that you not purchase airfare until you receive a confirmation letter which will contain specific flight parameters. Cruise and Pre-Cruise passengers will fly round-trip to Amsterdam (AMS)
