Monday, October 9 – New York, New York

Depart 7 pm – Your Amazing Journeys cruise to the beautiful regions of Canada and New England begins today! This evening, get to know your fellow travelers at our Amazing Journeys Welcome & Orientation followed by an ice breaker before we set sail to explore the beauty and history of Canada and New England on Princess Cruises’ Caribbean Princess. 

Tuesday, October 10 – Newport, Rhode Island

Arrive 7 am, depart 5 pm – In the 19th century, Newport was America’s Versailles. It was here that the great merchant princes and robber barons of the Gilded Age erected the elaborate summerhouses they so ingenuously dubbed “cottages.” At the height of its splendor, a Newport season was a giddy whirl of grand fêtes, yacht races and elaborate beach picnics for assorted Vanderbilts, Astors and Morgans. Marvel at the splendor of great mansions like The Breakers, The Elms, or Rosecliff. Onboard, we’ll come together for an Amazing Journeys cocktail party, followed by an amazing show in the theater and late night activities.

Wednesday, October 11  – Boston, Massachusetts

Arrive at 11 am, depart at 8 pm – Hailed as the “Cradle of American Independence,” Boston brims with heritage landmarks and cultural attractions that tell the story of our country’s fascinating history. Boston was America’s first great city and has been described as the “Athens of America.” Today this vibrant city combines historic districts with revitalized urban centers.  Follow the Freedom Trail along three of the most historic miles in the country and see the site of the Boston Tea Party. Trace the route of Paul Revere’s famous ride, and stand on the bridge where minutemen fired “the shot heard ’round the world.” Venture into Lexington and Concord for more icons of the American Revolution, or head to Salem to explore the dark past at the Salem Witch Museum. Get an education at Harvard Square, touch “Fisk Pole” at Fenway Park, and top it all off with a bowl of “Boston Chowda” at Quincy Marketplace.

Thursday, October 12 – Bar Harbor, Maine

Arrive at 7 am, depart at 7 pm –  Nestled on the east side of Mt. Desert Island and surrounded by Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor features some of the most spectacular scenery on the Eastern Seaboard. The rock-bound coast, soaring granite cliffs, majestic mountains and blue waters have attracted the Rockefellers, Astors, and Vanderbilts for over 200 years, and continue to enchant visitors today. Visitors can walk the streets of town, relax on the Village Green or climb Cadillac Mountain to see the natural grandeur. This evening, partake in a variety of activities and dinner on our floating resort.

Friday, October 13 – St. John (Bay of Fundy)

Arrive at 7 am, depart at 4 pm – Boasting unspoiled natural beauty and a spectacular coastline, New Brunswick’s pristine shores await you. The capital of Saint John is Canada’s oldest settlement and was a thriving industrial port until it was leveled by fire in 1877, but redevelopment of the Old City Market and Heritage Area has restored the town’s charm and its sense of history. Saint John lies on the Bay of Fundy, which boasts the highest tides in the world and the astonishing Reversing Rapids, caused when the tides change and the river is forced to reverse direction and flow upstream. Witness this natural phenomenon along with heritage sites on a guided trolley ride and zip-line adventure, or cruise the Bay of Fundy for different views of the area’s spectacular natural beauty. Discover the inspired eateries that have put uptown Saint John on the map as a true foodie destination and venture on to the quaint seaside town of St. Andrews by-the-Sea and St. Martins for a relaxed stroll. Tonight, join us for an Amazing Journeys Shabbat followed by a group dinner.

Saturday, October 14 – Halifax, Nova Scotia

Arrive at 9 am, depart at 6 pm – It’s big enough to be the economic and cultural capital of Eastern Canada but small enough to be easygoing and hospitable. Halifax residents have it good as the city is located on one of the planet’s great natural harbors and adorned with landmarks like the Citadel fortress, Pier 21 (Canada’s Ellis Island), and the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. Outside the city, cruise visitors can discover the weatherbeaten landscape of Nova Scotia’s south shore. See craggy coastlines, the bouldered topography of Peggy’s Cove and the German village of Lunenburg, so meticulously restored it has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After, the ship is our playground as we enjoy the many activities available onboard.

Sunday, October 15 – Sydney, Nova Scotia

Arrive at 9 am, depart at 6 pm – A hundred thousand Gaelic welcomes await you in Nova Scotia, Latin for “New Scotland.” At the northeast end of the province sits Cape Breton Island, whose wild and lovely topography includes Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Bras d’Or Lake, and miles of rugged coastline. Sydney is the gateway to it all. There are highland villages for cruise visitors to see, the scenic Cabot Trail to explore, golden inland seas to sail, and the Fortress of Louisbourg to inspect – where every barn, barracks and pipe and drum corps appears just as it did when King Louis’ troops occupied the site in 1744. This evening, join others from the group for dinner and an evening of fun back on the ship.

Monday, October 16 – Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Arrive at 7 am, depart at 4 pm – Canada’s smallest province is an island that seems to be tethered to New Brunswick by the 8-mile-long Confederation Bridge lest it drift into the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Leave the mainland, cross the bridge, and make a right for Charlottetown. The largest city on Prince Edward Island as well as its capital, Charlottetown’s Victorian architecture, abundance of parks, and harbor side location make it an idyllic stop for cruise visitors. Walk the cobblestones of Victoria Row, see the house that inspired “Anne of Green Gables,” or explore the wild shore of Prince Edward Island National Park.

Tuesday, October 17 – Gulf of St. Lawrence

Cruising – The largest estuary in the world, the Gulf of Saint Lawrence fringes the shores of half the provinces of Canada and is a gateway to the interior of the entire North American continent. Geographically, the Gulf is defined by stunning coastline and beautiful islands, including Prince Edward Island and the Magdalen Islands. Thousands of migratory birds make this area their home during the spring and fall migration period. And be sure to keep an eye out for whale, porpoise and seal sightings. Our cruise ship offers so many options to relax and indulge and today is your opportunity to do just that!  Participate in our onboard dance classes, exercise in the gym or read a book as you watch the world go by from our ship. Tonight, enjoy pre-dinner activities, a group dinner and entertainment galore.

Wednesday, October 18 – Quebec City, Quebec

Arrive at 10 am – The singular image of the city is a hotel surrounded by cannons. Built to evoke a mountain castle, Chateau Frontenac sits atop a cape above the St. Lawrence River. The hotel is part of the city’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and with all the stone buildings and winding streets, you’ll think you’re in Europe. From there, cruise visitors can take the funicular or the “neck-breaking steps” down to the Lower Town. Many structures there date back to Quebec City’s beginnings, and highlights include Notre Dame des Victoires, the Petit Champlain district, the port, and the Musée de la Civilisation. Come together this evening for our Amazing Journeys Farewell event before our final group dinner.

Thursday, October 19 – Quebec City, Quebec – Cruise Ends

Debarkation – We say good-bye to our friends this morning as we head for home with amazing memories of a beautiful cruise in Canada & New England.

A deposit of $450 ($900 for single occupancy) is due with your reservation. Final payment is due on July 5, 2023.

Roommate matching is not available. Twin occupancy is available for those coming with a friend.

Stateroom options:

• Interior stateroom is approximately 158 square feet
• Ocean View stateroom is approximately 168 square feet with a large window
• Balcony stateroom has approximately 168 square feet of living space with a 46 square foot veranda
• Mini Suite stateroom has approximately 277 square feet of living space with a 46 square foot veranda

Items listed on this website are subject to change at any time.  By providing payment you agree to the terms and conditions as outlined on this website. All staterooms on the cruise are non-smoking.

Cancellation Policy for Cruise: Prior to April 18, 2023, there is a $75 penalty for cancellation. From April 19 – June 9, 2023, the cancellation penalty is the amount of the deposit for the cruise package. From June 10 – July 25, 2023, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the cruise package. From July 26 – September 6, 2023, the cancellation penalty is 75% of the total cruise package. Cancellations made on September 7, 2023 or after and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation after the start of the cruise.

Travel Protection: A Travel Protection Plan is highly recommended. Information will be included in your confirmation letter.

Passport & Visa Requirements:All passengers must present a valid passport (valid for six months beyond the last date of travel) to board the vessel. Non-US, Canadian, UK or EU Citizens may be required to have a visa in addition to a passport. If you are from a country other than those mentioned above, please check with the embassies of the United States and Canada to find out if visas are necessary.

COVID Precautions: Until further notice, we require you to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 at least two weeks before departure, and a booster is recommended to keep you healthy and safe while traveling but at this time, not required. Please send us a copy of your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card with the CDC logo by email or fax to Amazing Journeys. We do not test for COVID-19 or any other diseases. It is up to each traveler to be aware of any requirements or changes to state and country mandates and airline requirements as they are changing often. Depending upon the situation at the time of this trip and the destination, some cruise components may be modified, and masks may be required as determined by the CDC.

Port Taxes, Government Fees & Gratuities: Port taxes, government fees and gratuities have all been included in the rate. Port taxes, government fees and gratuities are subject to change.  Should oil costs go above $65 per barrel and the cruise lines add fees, Amazing Journeys reserves the right to add them to the cost of the package.  The cost will be no more than $10 per guest per day.

Air & Transfers: Airfare has not been included in the cruise rates. Optional transfers to and from the ship are available on the day of ships arrival and departure only, and details will be sent closer to the sailing date. Please don’t book flights until you have received a confirmation from Amazing Journeys.
Flight Parameters: Fly into New York no later than 3:00 pm if flying into JFK or EWR, or no later than 4:00 pm if flying into LGA on October 9. Fly home from Quebec City (YQB) after 9am on October 19.

Dining: Late Dining (8pm) has been reserved for our group on this sailing.  In addition to the main restaurant, there are several specialty restaurants (fees apply), a buffet, poolside dining and room service.
