Cancellation Policy: From the time of deposit until July 14, 2026, there is a $100 penalty for cancellation. From July 15 – August 31, 2026, the cancellation penalty is the amount of deposit for the cruise. From September 1 – October 21, 2026 the cancellation penalty is 50% of the cost of the cruise package rate. From October 22 – November 23, 2026 the cancellation penalty is 75% of the cost of the cruise package. From November 24, 2026 until the day of travel, the cancellation penalty is 100% of the cost of the cruise package. Cancellations made on the day of departure and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation by the passenger after the start of the journey. Your decision not to participate on the tour due to State Department advisories, fear of travel, illness or any other reason will be deemed a cancellation.

Travel Protection: A travel protection policy is recommended for participation in this program. More information will be sent with tour confirmation.

This trip is for you if: On our cruise, our group shore excursions (which take place in each port) are for those who are able to walk at a moderate pace, covering several miles. Walking or standing for 2-3 hours is very doable.  You can navigate hills, stairs, uneven surfaces, and climb up and into various modes of transportation – including tender boats – independently. You can expect several early mornings and some longer days balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own adventure. You must be in good health and prepare properly. Our shore excursions are not a fit for those who require assistance with walking or who travel on mobility devices. As this is a group tour, individual accommodations cannot be made for those who are not able to keep up with the group.

Passport & Visa Requirements: A passport is necessary to travel on this itinerary.  It must be valid for six months beyond the last day of the trip. Please double check at this time that the name you provided to Amazing Journeys matches the full name on your passport. If the name on your passport differs from the name on your registration form, a name change fee may be incurred. If you are arriving from the US, Canada, Australia, UK, no visas are necessary at this time. If you are from a country other than those mentioned, please check with the Embassies of Dominican Republic, the Netherlands and the UK to find out if a visa is necessary. Please note that visa information is subject to change at any time and it is up to the individual traveling to stay current on visa requirements.

Twin Accommodations: Twin accommodations are available if you and a friend are traveling together.  When signing up for twin occupancy, should one of the roommates cancel, the remaining traveling roommate will assume the cost of a single supplement. Standard cancellation terms apply to any cancellation.

Flights: It is important that you not purchase airfare until you receive a Confirmation Letter via email from Amazing Journeys. For this itinerary, flight parameters are as follows:
Cruise on December 26, 2026 – Arrive into Ft. Lauderdale or Miami– land in Ft. Lauderdale (airport code FLL) before 11am, or Miami (airport code MIA) before 10am on December 26. The ship sails at 3pm and everyone must be onboard at least two hours prior.
Return from Cruise on January 3, 2027 – depart from Ft. Lauderdale or Miami– leave from Ft. Lauderdale (airport code FLL) after 10am, or Miami (airport code MIA) after 11am on January 3.

Transfers: Transfers between the airport and the ship are not included.  Transfers offered by Princess Cruises to both the Ft. Lauderdale and Miami airports will be available for a fee closer to the travel date. Transfers are available only on the ship’s departure and arrival dates. More information on cruise line transfers, taxis and ride shares will be provided closer to the travel date.

Pre-Cruise Hotel Recommendations:Amazing Journeys will be recommending two different hotels for those who would like to come in ahead of the cruise and stay at a hotel with others from the group. Please note that pre-night stays will not be staffed by Amazing Journeys. Our recommendations will be shared in the confirmation letter.

Port taxes, government fees & gratuities: Port taxes, government fees and gratuities (“crew appreciation”) have all been included in the rate.  Taxes, surcharges,  government fees and gratuities are subject to change. Should oil costs go above $65 per barrel and the cruise lines add fees, Amazing Journeys reserves the right to add them to the cost of the package.  The cost will be no more than $10 per guest per day.

Group Dining: 6:00pm dining has been reserved for our group on this sailing. In addition to the main restaurant, there is a buffet, several specialty restaurants (fees apply), and room service (fees may apply).

Vaccines & Precautions: At this time there are no specific vaccinations required for international travelers. We recommend you visit a travel clinic or see your health professional to be sure you are up to date on vaccinations needed for international travel. Requirements can change at any time. You can get more information at the following web site: Center for Disease Control. Please note that our Amazing Journeys staff are not medical professionals and can therefore give you no further information on what vaccinations or medications you may need for this or any other tour.
