Finland & Lapland: In Search of Northern Lights
- February 7-13, 2026
- Starting from $5350
- For Jewish Singles

Journey to Finland and venture out into the dark to search for the magical but elusive northern lights in the winter. Streaks of colorful light that change from white to pink to purple, and most commonly, to green, dazzle and move the open sky like nature’s own dance party. The best time to witness the northern lights in Finland is from late September to mid-April, when the nights are the longest. Well worth the pursuit, this is a truly remarkable light show that’s not to be missed.
Immerse yourself in a new perspective as you discover life in the Lapland of Finland. With only 7-8 hours of daylight, these shorter days offer experiences of the culture of the Finnish people and their lifestyle, so different than what we know. In the Lapland region, experience life above the Arctic Circle in the winter. Highlights include a reindeer safari, husky sled ride, sleeping in a glass igloo and nightly searches for the Northern Lights. In Helsinki, enjoy unique architecture, pristine public parks, Market Square and more. All of this plus a great group of Jewish single travelers from the US and beyond.

You can walk on snow and easily climb stairs. You can navigate hills and uneven/wet ground independently, climb up and into various modes of transportation including lowering yourself into a sled. You must be in good health and prepare properly. This trip is not a fit for those who require assistance with walking or who travel on mobility devices.

It must be valid for six months beyond the last day of the trip. If the name on your passport differs from the name on your registration form, a name change fee may be incurred. If you are arriving from the US, Canada, Australia, UK, no visas are necessary at this time. Warm clothing including thermals, hat, scarf and gloves are recommended. A suggested packing list will be provided as the trip approaches.
