Cancellation Policy: From the time of deposit until August 12, 2024, there is a $250 penalty for cancellation. From August 13 – October 7, 2024, the cancellation penalty is the deposit amount for the package. From October 8 – November 7, 2024, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the cost of the package. From November 8 – December 5, 2024, the cancellation penalty is 75% of the cost of the package. From December 6, 2024 until the day of travel, the cancellation penalty is 100% of the cost of the package (tour and air). Cancellations made on the day of departure and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation by the passenger after the start of the journey. Your decision not to participate on the tour due to State Department advisories, fear of travel, illness or any other reason will be deemed a cancellation by you.
Travel Protection: Amazing Journeys recommends you purchase travel protection. Information will be sent with your tour confirmation.

Please note – Amazing Journeys takes no responsibility for roommate matching and is unable to step in to settle disputes or disagreements that may arise. When signing up for twin occupancy, should one of the roommates cancel their reservation before the trip, the remaining traveling roommate will assume the cost of a single supplement. Passports & Visas: A passport is necessary to travel on this itinerary. It must be valid for six months beyond the last day of the trip. If a visa is required for this itinerary, Amazing Journeys will obtain it on your behalf.
Credit Card Payments: Rates listed are for final payments made by check. After the initial deposit, all payments made by credit card will have a 3.5% credit card fee.
Baggage: Each traveler may bring one checked suitcase (max 50 lbs) and one carry-on bag.
Fuel Surcharges: Should oil costs go above $65 a barrel and our tour operators adjust the rate of the tours cost accordingly, we reserve the right to adjust the cost of the tour.
Exchange Rate: In the case of currency fluctuations greater than 3%, we reserve the right to adjust our pricing accordingly in order that we may be able to operate the tours effectively.
Taxes & Gratuities: Taxes, surcharges, and government fees are subject to change. Gratuities for applicable land/onboard staff, guides, drivers, baggage handlers and servers at included meals have been included.
Vaccines & Precautions: At this time there are no specific vaccinations required for international travelers. We recommend you visit a travel clinic or see your health professional to be sure you are up to date on routine vaccinations recommended by the CDC for international travel including Covid, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, MMR and Typhoid. Requirements can change at any time. You really thought we’d put the itinerary here? Wishful thinking! Instead, we’ll share with you some details about how our Mystery Trip works.
Where will we meet?
For this Mystery Trip, we will all meet at the airport in our gateway city, which will be in the US. We will advise you where and by what time you should arrive at the airport in the gateway city.
When will we learn where we’re going?
You’ll learn your Mystery Trip destination when we get there!
How will we get to our destination?
We will be flying internationally (yes, that’s your first hint!) for this trip. Amazing Journeys will book your international flights for you. We have standard economy class reserved (cost not included). Or, if you prefer, you can choose to fly in Business Class (see Pricing tab for more details). The international flight will be between 7 and 12 hours long.
What if I’ve been there before?
Even if you’ve been here before, you’ve never experienced it like this. This is a fully immersive experience to get to know the culture, history and landscape of a wonderfully special destination.
Will we be busy the whole time?
We will see and do so many wonderful things and you will truly be immersed in this destination. We have also built in free time here and there for you to slow down, relax and enjoy down-time with your fellow travelers.
Will we get hints of where we are going?
Yes! For those curious-minded people who are registered for our trip, we will provide you with one monthly hint beginning in June to those who have signed up. What you do with that hint is up to you. Do you want to do a deep dive and try to find any destination that fits that hint? Or are you going to kick your feet up and let the mystery be a real mystery? The choice is yours (but don’t spoil the mystery for others!) As with all trips, we will create a private Facebook page for those people confirmed on the trip. That way you can communicate with your fellow travelers before the adventure begins.
What type of trip is this?
Cruise, expedition, land tour – you’ll learn when you get there! This trip is everything you know and love about Amazing Journeys trips, the only difference being that you won’t know the destination in advance. This group will be limited to no more than 25 lucky travelers.
What do I pack?
We will guide you on the weather and what you should pack in a way that will make you confident before you head to the airport. Have we ever left you unprepared?
What documentation will I need for this trip?
You will need a valid passport for this trip. There are no specific vaccination requirements for this trip. If a visa is required for this itinerary, we will obtain it on your behalf.
What if I decide not to go?
As with all trips, there are cancellation penalties, which are directly related to those suppliers with whom we have made commitments on your behalf.
What is the activity level?
Although this is an exciting trip, it is not considered an “active” trip. This trip is for you if you’re an on-the-go traveler and don’t want to miss a thing. Walking and standing for 2-3 hours isn’t a big deal. You’re able to walk at a moderate pace, covering several miles, hills, steps, and uneven surfaces. You can expect some full days balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own.

Flights: Fights to our mystery destination have not been included with the cost of the tour. These will be purchased separately when registering for the tour. Guests must select one option:
1. Economy (Sold Out)
2. Premium Economy ($3700 upon last check)
3. Business Class ($5800 upon last check)
For those travelers requesting rates of Premium Economy or Business Class seats for the international flights, Amazing Journeys will request rates and availability on your behalf. Separate terms & conditions apply for Premium Economy or Business Class tickets. If the traveler would like to confirm, a separate form will be provided.
A deposit of $950 is due with your reservation.
