Explore the most famous canyons of the American West on a journey featuring three national parks – The Grand Canyon, Bryce National Park and Zion National Park! Add to this visits to stunning Sedona, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon and more, this itinerary allows you to experience the best of the Southwest. Plus, we end in Las Vegas where you can indulge in the glitz and glamour of this famous gem in the desert.
No matter how much you read about the Grand Canyon or how many images you’ve seen, nothing really prepares you for seeing it in person. One of the seven natural wonders of the world, it’s so iconic and amazing, you can’t take your eyes off of it.
Bryce Canyon is not a single canyon, but a series of natural bowls carved into the edge of a high plateau. Witness the hoodoos, uniquely shaped rock formations created over thousands of years by wind and water, in brightly colored reds and oranges.
In Zion National Park, follow paths where ancient native people and pioneers walked. Gaze up at massive sandstone cliffs of pink, cream and red that soar into a bright blue sky. Zion’s unique array of plants and animals will enchant you as you absorb the rich history of the past and enjoy the excitement of present day adventures.
Travel with a group of Jewish Singles from North America and beyond and this will be an amazing journey to remember forever! We create an amazing trip that brings in a fabulous group of travelers, so you just have to sign up and we bring the friends!

Friday, October 22 – Arrival in Scottsdale, Arizona – Tour Begins
Explore the most famous canyons of the American West on a journey featuring three national parks. Begin in colorful Scottsdale. This evening, meet your fellow travelers at our Amazing Journeys Welcome Orientation, followed by a Shabbat service. Later, we’ll enjoy a group dinner together. (D)
Saturday, October 23 – Scottsdale – Sedona – Grand Canyon
Stunning Sedona awaits, where the sun shines against stunning sandstone formations. Soak in the imaginative atmosphere and colorful vistas while browsing the arts and crafts shops of the marketplace. Admire Oak Creek Canyon, where the rock formations seem to change hue with every turn in the road. Later, travel through the spectacular Kaibab National Forest before reaching the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. (B, D)
Sunday, October 24 – Grand Canyon – Lake Powell
“Grand” is not a strong enough word for today. This morning, take the time to explore the Grand Canyon. Theodore Roosevelt once said, “This is one of the great sights which every American, if he can travel at all, must see.” Behold those same breathtaking views as we travel along East Rim Drive. Later, a short ride brings you to Cameron Trading Post. For nearly a century, the post has acted as a haven for travelers, traders and explorers. Continue on to Horseshoe Bend for a leisurely hike and photo stop before arriving at your home for the next two evenings – a lovely hotel overlooking the stunning blue waters of Lake Powell. Later we will enjoy dinner at Lake Powell and some time at leisure. (B, D)
Monday, October 25 – Lake Powell – Canyon Adventure Cruise
This morning, embark on a gentle guided float trip as you raft along the iconic Horseshoe Bend and experience the peaceful grandeur of the Colorado River. Look for fish in the crystal clear water, birds nesting on the banks of the river and possibly herd of big horns along the way. This afternoon, join us on an optional hike with a local guide to discover the magical world of the Upper Antelope Canyon (1.5 hours, additional fee applies). This option takes you through the colorful, wind carved sandstone walls of the Upper Antelope Canyon where you can take pictures and learn about the canyon and local area. Later, we’ll take a canyon adventure cruise through the wondrous geologic formations of the Navajo and Antelope canyons. (B)
Tuesday, October 26 – Lake Powell – Bryce Canyon National Park – Springdale, UT (Zion)
Hoodoos! Today, travel to spectacular Bryce Canyon National Park, famous for its hoodoos. These rock formations, created over thousands of years by wind and water, display natural orange and red hues that contrast with the deep green forests in the park. Take in sprawling vistas as you wander along Sunset Point, leading into Sunset Point Rim Trail. Our day ends in Springdale, gateway to Zion National Park. (B)
Wednesday, October 27 – Zion National Park
In sheer magnitude and color, few places on earth match the beauty of Zion National Park. Marvel at red and white sandstone cliffs as we take a full day to explore Utah’s first national park. Climb aboard Zion’s open-air tram and wind your way alongside the Virgin River and through the 2,400 foot deep, half-mile wide Zion Canyon. This afternoon, it’s your choice! Delve into the area’s Native American heritage at the Zion Human History Museum – OR – venture off on your own to enjoy time in the great outdoors exploring the park independently. This evening, we’ll have our Amazing Journeys Farewell Event, followed by a group dinner. (B, D)
Thursday, October 28 – Springdale – Las Vegas, Nevada
Today, trade nature’s beauty for the lights of the Vegas strip. This four mile stretch of road features neon lit resorts and round-the-clock action. This afternoon is yours to enjoy Las Vegas as you wish. There are a myriad of wonderful restaurants in this town as well as many shows! (B)
