Arrive in Rome and transfer on your own to our group hotel. This afternoon we will offer an optional sightseeing tour to show you some of the highlights of this ancient city! This evening, we’ll provide the transportation so that we can join together for a night out spent in a fun and lively area of Rome where there are lots of options for dining, nightlife, people watching!
Friday, July 31 – Rome, Italy
Start your day with an included breakfast (for those on the 2-night package) on our amazing hotel rooftop with views all across the city of Rome. Later, we’ll take you on an included tour of the Borghese Gallery and Gardens. You’ll have a bit of free time this afternoon for shopping, walking around or eating gelato.
For those arriving today for the 1-night package, arrive in Rome and transfer on your own to our group hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax as you acclimate to the new time zone.
This evening we’ll gather together and transfer to the Great Synagogue of Rome for Shabbat services. This evening is free so that you can have the opportunity to enjoy dinner in this former “Jewish Ghetto” with others from the group (pay your way for dinner, transfers included).
Saturday, August 1 – Rome, Italy
This morning, we will have a buffet breakfast at the hotel before we depart for a morning tour of Rome. After, we’ll transfer to our new home, Enchanted Princess, and get ready to set sail through the Mediterranean and the islands of Greece!

Extra Nights: For those who want to arrive prior to the start of the pre-cruise, we have a limited number of rooms held at our group hotel. Please note – there will be no Amazing Journeys staff present nor will there be programming on these days.

Cancellation Policy for Cruise, Pre-Cruise and Post-Cruise Packages:Prior to February 3, 2020, there is a $100 penalty for cancellation. From February 4 – May 26, 2020, the cancellation penalty is the amount of the deposit for the cruise, pre-and post-cruise packages. From May 27 – July 1, 2020, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the total for the cruise, pre-and post-cruise packages. From July 2 – July 15, 2020, the cancellation penalty is 75% of the total for the cruise, pre-and post-cruise packages. Cancellations made on July 16, 2020 or after and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation after the start of the cruise pre- or post-cruise packages.
Travel Protection: Amazing Journeys recommends you purchase Travel Protection. Information will be sent with your trip confirmation.
Proof of Citizenship: All passengers must present a valid passport (valid for six months beyond the last date of travel). There is no visa required at this time for US, Canadian or UK Citizens to all of the countries we are visiting, however, this may change at any time. Guests are required to make themselves aware of any changes in visa status. If you are from a country other than those mentioned, please check with the Embassies of Italy, Montenegro and Greece to find out if a visa is necessary.
Dining Preference: Late Dining has been reserved for our group on this sailing. In addition to the main restaurant, there are several specialty restaurants (fees apply), a buffet and room service.
Currency Fluctuations: In case of currency fluctuations greater than 3% on our pre- and post-cruise packages, we reserve the right to adjust our prices accordingly in order to operate the tour.
Port Taxes, Government Fees and Gratuities: Port taxes, government fees and gratuities have all been included in the rate. Port taxes, government fees and gratuities are subject to change. Should oil costs go above $65 per barrel and the cruise line adds fees, Amazing Journeys reserves the right to add them to the cost of the package. The cost will be no more than $10 per guest per day.
Air and Airport Transfers: Airfare has not been included in the cruise rates. Information on optional transfers to and from the ship will be sent closer to the sailing date. It is important that you not purchase airfare until you receive a confirmation letter which will contain specific flight parameters.
