Cancellation Policy for Cruise and Pre-Cruise Package: Prior to January 2, 2025, there is a $275 penalty for cancellation. From January 3 to March 26, 2025 the cancellation penalty is the amount of the deposit including pre-cruise package. From March 27 – April 24, 2025, the cancellation penalty is 25% of the total for the cruise package including pre-cruise package and any additional hotel nights. From April 25 – May 26, 2025, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the total for the cruise package including pre-cruise package and any additional hotel nights. From May 27 – June 24, 2025, the cancellation penalty is 75% of the total for the cruise package including pre-cruise package and any additional hotel nights. From June 25, 2025 or after and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation after the start of the cruise and pre-cruise or any additional nights booked. Your decision not to participate on the tour due to State Department advisories, fear of travel, illness or any other reason will be deemed a cancellation.

Proof of Citizenship: A passport is necessary to travel on this itinerary. Please send Amazing Journeys a copy of your passport at this time if we do not have a current copy. This trip is for you: Walking or standing for 1-3 hours is very doable. Depending on the shore excursions you select, you should be able to navigate hills, stairs, uneven surfaces, and climb up and into various modes of transportation – including boats – independently. Some tours have have early mornings and there is the possibility of longer days balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own adventure. When traveling in French Polynesia you will encounter warm temperatures. You must be in good health and prepare properly. This trip is not a fit for those who require assistance with walking or who travel on mobility devices.
Dining Onboard: Oceania’s Regatta features two complimentary specialty restaurants and unique dining experiences. The gourmet restaurants each serve a distinctive set of dishes from Continental and wellness-inspired cuisine at The Grand Dining Room, classic Italian fare at Toscana and steakhouse favorites at Polo Grill. There is also the Terrace Café, Waves Grill, Afternoon Tea and Baristas. Don’t forget luxurious room service, too! Arrive into Papeete, Tahiti for the Pre-Cruise on August 24 – land in Fa’a’a International Airport (airport code PPT) anytime on August 24. Check-in time at our hotel is 3pm.
Arrive into Papeete, Tahiti for the Cruise on August 26 – land in Fa’a’a International Airport (airport code PPT) before 3:00pm on August 26. Our first program will begin early evening onboard the ship.
Return from Papeete, Tahiti on September 5 – depart from Fa’a’a International Airport (airport code PPT) any time after 11:00am today. We will be offering an optional hotel day-pass for those with later flights.

Twin Accommodations: Twin accommodations are available if you and a friend are traveling together. Amazing Journeys takes no responsibility for roommate matching and is unable to step in to settle disputes or disagreements that may arise. When signing up for twin occupancy, should one of the roommates cancel their reservation or switch to a Single accommodation before the trip, the remaining traveling roommate will assume the cost of a single supplement. Credit Card Payments: Rates listed are for final payments made by check. After the initial deposit, all payments made by credit card will have a 3% credit card fee.

Oceania Air Cancellation Penalties: For those using Oceania Cruises Air Package, the following cancellation penalties apply: Once ticketed (approximately 60 days prior to departure), airfare is subject to cancellation penalty of 100%. Custom air fee once accepted is subject to cancellation penalty of 100% of fee. Air supplemental fee within 60 days is subject to penalty of 100% of fee.

Sunday, August 24
Upon your arrival into Tahiti, make your way to our group hotel. Your room will be available at 3pm (most flights will arrive early in the morning), but you may store your bags with the hotel and start your vacation! Spend the day relaxing poolside, overlooking the South Pacific. Tonight, we’ll have the evening free to spend in Tahiti. We’ll have a meeting place and time and are happy to make dinner recommendations so you can spend the evening with others from our group!
Monday, August 25
After breakfast, the day is yours! Spend your time enjoying our luxury resort. Here you’ll find everything you could possibly want – from beaches and watersports offerings like snorkeling and kayaking, to the stunning Lotus Pool, a sand bottom pool with swim-up bar and Jacuzzi. You’ll enjoy daily cultural activities, allowing you to connect with the Polynesian culture and its people, The Lagoonarium, a natural aquarium where you can learn about sea life conservation. And there is a full service spa – this is paradise! Tahiti is also a scenic island with lush landscapes and stunning waterfalls – choose to leave the more developed areas behind, either on your own or with an escorted excursion, and you will find beautiful hiking trails, pleasant beaches and calm waters. This morning after enjoying a buffet breakfast, we will have a brief tour of Tahiti. Our tour concludes at Oceania Regatta, our home away from home for the next 10 days. (B)
