Sunday, February 23 – Iguaçu Falls, Brazil
Today we will have the opportunity to cross over into Brazil and into the National Park for more spectacular views of the waterfalls. Walk along the paths following cascades and then walk along the catwalk that leads very close to the bottom of the Devil’s Throat. You’ll be impressed by the panoramic views of the falls like the Two Sisters, Bozzeti, Superior Circuit and San Martin Island, where the movie “The Mission” was filmed. The promenade shows a complete and panoramic view of the falls. We’ll stop for a group lunch at the beautiful Belcond Das Cataratas Hotel located inside the National Park. Later, we’ll experience the Macuco Safari. Travel the Macuco Trail in a rustic, open wagon, which allows an unhindered view of the jungle in its entire splendor. The guides narrate some of the stories, marvels and mysteries of the subtropical forest surrounded by orchids and butterflies. Walk down the Iguaçu Canyon Trail, visiting the picturesque Macuco Falls; penetrate the Brazilian jungle on foot to have a more intimate contact with nature. Shoot the rapids in the Iguazú Canyon from secure open boats (mild rapids) as you go under the falls! Feel the same emotion as the first pioneers felt on discovering this untouched wild area. We’ll have some free time to enjoy the falls and all of their splendor. Later, we head back to Argentina where you’ll have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the waterfalls, seen right from your hotel room, enjoy the gorgeous infinity pool facing the falls, or relax at the spa. This evening is free to take in the beauty of the area. (B, L)

Enjoy the scenic lookout point resting on the side of the gorgeous Devil’s Throat. Then, we’ll have the opportunity to walk nearly two miles along the Iguazu River Canyon, via the lower circuit and the upper circuit to enjoy the flora and fauna. You will have the opportunity to feel the rush of water as you see the nearly 270 individual waterfalls up close. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to take in the beauty of the falls. This evening, enjoy dinner at The Argentine Experience – this is the first speak easy restaurant in Iguazu.
The Argentine Experience welcomes you to a night full of surprises! Have fun preparing your own wine- based cocktail, with the assistance of local hosts.
