Enjoy the quaintness of the cities along the coast of England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and even a visit to northern France! Our itinerary includes less traveled spots that cruises seldom visit, including the Channel Islands of the UK and the Orkney Islands of Scotland. In addition, you’ll be visiting favorites like Dublin, Cork and Edinburgh! This itinerary not only gives you the opportunity to check off bucket list destinations, but also lets you experience the highlights of the region including the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and Fringe Festival! This itinerary is crafted to give you more time ashore to explore, as the ship leaves port later in the evening in most ports.
Our home-away-from-home for this 12-night adventure is on Princess Cruises’ Regal Princess. Known for their regional music, onboard pubs, local wine and dining options, Princess Cruises is the perfect venue for exploring the British Isles. Add to all this a great group of Jewish singles and your British Isles Cruise will be a vacation that will change your life!
And to make your vacation as hassle-free as possible, we have bundled everything together, so the price you see is the price you pay. The rates on our Pricing tab include all taxes, gratuities and fees (valued at over $750), a beverage package (valued at $800), a wifi package and much more. Sunday, August 13 – Portland, England
Arrive at 7 am, depart at 7 pm – Situated along the southernmost part of the Dorset Coast site lies the historic and culturally rich island of Portland. This tiny limestone island is just four miles long by a mile-and-a-half wide at its broadest point, but is ruggedly beautiful, with endless vistas and wild, natural landscapes. This unique, tied island marks the southernmost point on the Jurassic Coast and we will have the opportunity to explore this beautiful and unique port. Its proximity to sites like the mysterious somber plinths of Stonehenge and quaint English villages make it an ideal port to kick-start your exploration of the British Isles. This evening, join together for dinner and evening entertainment on our ship.
Monday, August 14 – Guernsey, Channel Islands, England
Arrive at 7 am, depart at 4 pm – The British isle of Guernsey lies just eight miles off the coast of France. The second largest of the Channel Islands, Guernsey possesses a mild climate, breathtaking scenery and a peaceful, unspoiled ambience. All these attributes combine to make it a popular destination for British and French vacationers. Once the haunt of sea dogs and pirates, St. Peter Port is one of the prettiest harbors in Europe. Castles and forts dot the Guernsey coastline, including German fortifications from World War II. After, the ship is our playground as we enjoy the many activities available onboard.
Tuesday, August 15 – Cork (Cobh), Ireland
Arrive at 9 am, depart at 7 pm – A maritime history spanning over a thousand years, set in a beautiful soft coastal environment where the land, the people and their culture will allow you to discover a quirky way to stimulate your senses. Ireland’s second city is first in every important respect – at least according to the locals, who cheerfully refer to it as the ‘real capital of Ireland’. Still happily steeped in tradition, it’s easy to find snug pubs with live-music sessions, restaurants dishing up top-quality local produce and a genuinely proud welcome from the locals. Stroll down narrow country lanes or see the Lakes of Killarney. The intrepid visitor may scale the narrow passages of Blarney Castle to kiss the Blarney Stone. Tonight, join together for dinner and an evening to enjoy the ship’s nightlife.

From the Guinness Brewery to Trinity College with its famous Book of Kells, Dublin has earned the recent reputation for being one of the hippest cities in all of Europe. Dublin has experienced a renaissance. Today, this gracious and cosmopolitan city is one of Europe’s premier destinations. The capital of the Republic of Ireland, Dublin is an intimate place that is easy to explore. Tonight, we’ll come together for drinks, followed by an amazing show in the theater and late night dancing.

The capital of Northern Ireland – part of the United Kingdom – Belfast has experienced a renaissance since the Good Friday Agreement of 1998 that promised an end to the decades-old “Troubles” between Catholics and Protestants. Stretching along both sides of the River Lagan, this graceful city of Victorian and Edwardian buildings has become a cosmopolitan tourist destination.

Arrive at 8 am, depart 2 am – Spend the day learning about Glasgow’s medieval history. From Glasgow Cathedral to the impressive Stirling Castle, there is so much to see! Explore the magnificent region of Trossachs National Park and Loch Lomond, visit a wool center or take a tour of a local distillery. Glasgow was Scotland’s great industrial center during the 19th century. Today, the city remains the commercial and cultural capital of the Lowlands. Lying on the banks of the River Clyde, Glasgow boasts some of the finest Victorian architecture in the entire United Kingdom, including the stately City Chambers. Elegant Princes Square offers excellent shopping, and among the host of museums and galleries, the Burrell Collection features a superb treasure trove of paintings and art objects. For those who prefer, spend a full day in Edinburgh, getting a front row seat at the largest Fringe Festival in the world on the Royal Mile. Tonight, you’ll have an opportunity to watch the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, a performance at the Edinburgh Castle where you can expect an unforgettable evening of music, ceremony, theater and dance that guarantees to be a highlight of your cruise.

Sunday, August 20 – Orkney Islands (Kirkwall), Scotland
Arrive at 7 am, depart at 5 pm – Just north of Scotland lay the Orkney Islands. Washed by the furthest reach of the Gulf Stream, this chain of over 70 islands offers dramatic landscapes that range from sea cliffs rearing 1,000 feet above the waves to sweeping white sand beaches. Bird watchers flock to the Orkney Islands, drawn by the multitudes of sea birds. Divers explore the wrecks lying in the clear waters of Scapa Flow, the Royal Navy’s fleet anchorage in two world wars. And most fascinating of all, the Orkney Islands boast the greatest concentration of prehistoric sites in all Europe, including the mysterious Ring of Brodgar and 5,000-year-old Skara Brae. Onboard, we’ll come together for an Amazing Journeys cocktail party, followed by an amazing show in the theater and late night dancing.
Monday, August 21 – Edinburgh, Scotland
Arrive at 7 am, depart at 7 pm – Boasting castles, cathedrals and whiskey, this Scottish city has it all! Edinburgh has a rare charm with narrow and cobbled passageways, majestic buildings and gardens, countless fascinating museums and friendly locals. This is the world’s largest arts festival with hundreds of performance venues, street performers and fun around every corner. Wander through this storybook medieval city or tour the countryside where you’ll learn about the history that put this town on the map. Looking for a unique way to experience Edinburgh? Book a fun outing like a Harry Potter tour. Once back on our ship, experience one of the specialty dining options onboard, if you so choose!
Tuesday, August 22 – At Sea
Cruising – Spend the day relaxing poolside with your friends while enjoying your favorite beverage. Join us for Team Trivia or a Slot Tournament in the Casino. It’s your vacation, and we want you to enjoy it as you please! Come together this evening for our Amazing Journeys Farewell event and enjoy some nightlife onboard.
Wednesday, August 23 – Paris/Normandy (Le Havre), France

The historic Allied landings at Normandy on D-Day – June 6, 1944 – live on in the memories of British and Americans alike and you will have the opportunity to learn the history and explore the town. This port is also a gateway to Paris – filled with monument-lined boulevards, museums, classical bistros and boutiques. This whirlwind tour of Paris will show you such landmark sites like the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe the Champs-Élysées, Notre Dame cathedral and the Seine.
