Saturday, December 26 – Ft. Lauderdale, FL – Board ship
Ship departs at 3 pm – Your Amazing Journeys cruise to the Caribbean begins today! This evening, get to know your fellow travelers at our Amazing Journeys Welcome Event, followed by a group dinner onboard the beautiful Regal Princess.
Sunday, December 27 – At Sea
Cruising – Explore our home-away-from-home as we kick-start a week of fun, sun and new friends. Get your vacation off to a great start and enjoy all you came on a cruise to do… relax poolside with your new friends while sipping a daiquiri, try your luck in the casino or enjoy the spa. Plus, we’ll have some group activities to make your day even more enjoyable. Our day at sea will provide lots of opportunities for great times on our floating resort. Tonight, join us at one of the many fun venues on our beautiful ship, followed by a group dinner and entertainment onboard.
Monday, December 28 – Amber Cove, Dominican Republic
Arrive at 10 am, depart at 5 pm – Amber Cove, on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, is a welcoming and scenic port that’s easy to enjoy at a relaxed pace. Spend the day enjoying the beach, strolling the waterfront area, or relaxing by the pool with beautiful ocean views. Want to check out then local culture? Take a short trip into nearby Puerto Plata to see historic sites, charming streets, and colorful architecture. Amber Cove offers a awesome mix of comfort, culture, and gentle exploration! Tonight, join us for some AJ fun, followed by a group dinner.
Tuesday, December 29 – San Juan, Puerto Rico
Arrive at 10 am, depart at 6 pm – San Juan has two distinct personalities: there’s the vibrant, modern port city, and then there’s the historic colonial outpost first conquered by Juan Ponce de Leon in 1508. Spanish influence is evident everywhere in the city. Stroll the charming cobblestone streets of Old San Juan, admire colorful colonial buildings, and visit historic sites like forts and city walls with beautiful ocean views. There are plenty of cafés, shops, and shaded plazas perfect for taking a break and soaking in the atmosphere. Did you know the Pina Colada was invented in San Juan? You’ve got to try one! Tonight, we’ll come together for an Amazing Journeys cocktail party, followed by more fun onboard.
Wednesday, December 30 – St. Maarten
Arrive at 8 am, depart at 5 pm – This 37 square mile island contains two countries, French St. Martin and Dutch St. Maarten. Stops at sandy beaches give you a chance to snorkel, jet ski or swim. Spend the afternoon at Maho Beach and watch as airplanes fly just feet above your head as they come in for a landing. Or get a tutorial on how to sail a yacht with an exhilarating race through the crystal clear ocean. All of this is sprinkled with Caribbean flavor, leading to sunny days on beautiful beaches and shared experiences with your travel friends. This evening, enjoy a variety of activities and the ship’s exciting nightlife with an amazing group of travelers. There are a number of specialty dining options onboard and tonight you’ll have the opportunity to experience one for yourself, if you choose!
Thursday, December 31 – At Sea
Cruising – Spend the day relaxing poolside with your friends while enjoying your favorite beverage. Join us for Team Trivia, enjoy learning about the different destinations with on board enrichment programs or de-stress with a hot stone massage. Choose to do it all, or nothing at all. It’s your vacation, and we want you to enjoy it as you please! This evening, celebrate New Year’s Eve onboard our floating resort where shows, entertainment and parties will be in abundance! Grab a glass of champagne, join in on the fun at the poolside deck party and countdown to the new year with lively music and warm Caribbean breezes as your Amazing Journeys friends celebrate together as we sail into 2027!
Friday, January 1 – Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos
Arrive at 9 am, depart at 6 pm – Happy New Year! Grand Turk is a picture-perfect island in which to start the new year, with sparkling turquoise waters and soft white sand that’s impossible not to love. Dive into the crystal-clear sea, lounge on the beach, or explore the colorful local streets and shops. Soak up the sun and vibrant island vibes. With its relaxed energy and stunning scenery, Grand Turk is the ultimate spot for a fun and memorable Caribbean day. Join together this evening for our community Shabbat onboard, followed by a group dinner and an evening show or live music in one of the onboard venues.
Saturday, January 2 – At Sea
Cruising – We love when the last day of a cruise is a day at sea! Spend the day relaxing poolside with your friends while enjoying your favorite beverage as you listen to upbeat sounds of Caribbean music. Enjoy a massage at the spa, participate in wine tasting or pilates. This evening, we’ll come together for our Amazing Journeys Farewell Event and our farewell group dinner.
Sunday, January 3 – Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Arrive at 6 am – Our cruise ends today, but the memories of your Amazing Journey in the Caribbean will last a lifetime.

Cancellation Policy: From the time of deposit until July 14, 2026, there is a $100 penalty for cancellation. From July 15 – August 31, 2026, the cancellation penalty is the amount of deposit for the cruise. From September 1 – October 21, 2026 the cancellation penalty is 50% of the cost of the cruise package rate. From October 22 – November 23, 2026 the cancellation penalty is 75% of the cost of the cruise package. From November 24, 2026 until the day of travel, the cancellation penalty is 100% of the cost of the cruise package. Cancellations made on the day of departure and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation by the passenger after the start of the journey. Your decision not to participate on the tour due to State Department advisories, fear of travel, illness or any other reason will be deemed a cancellation.
Travel Protection: A travel protection policy is recommended for participation in this program. More information will be sent with tour confirmation.
This trip is for you if: On our cruise, our group shore excursions (which take place in each port) are for those who are able to walk at a moderate pace, covering several miles. Walking or standing for 2-3 hours is very doable. You can navigate hills, stairs, uneven surfaces, and climb up and into various modes of transportation – including tender boats – independently. You can expect several early mornings and some longer days balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own adventure. You must be in good health and prepare properly. Our shore excursions are not a fit for those who require assistance with walking or who travel on mobility devices. As this is a group tour, individual accommodations cannot be made for those who are not able to keep up with the group.
Passport & Visa Requirements: A passport is necessary to travel on this itinerary. It must be valid for six months beyond the last day of the trip. Please double check at this time that the name you provided to Amazing Journeys matches the full name on your passport. If the name on your passport differs from the name on your registration form, a name change fee may be incurred. If you are arriving from the US, Canada, Australia, UK, no visas are necessary at this time. If you are from a country other than those mentioned, please check with the Embassies of Dominican Republic, the Netherlands and the UK to find out if a visa is necessary. Please note that visa information is subject to change at any time and it is up to the individual traveling to stay current on visa requirements.
Twin Accommodations: Twin accommodations are available if you and a friend are traveling together. When signing up for twin occupancy, should one of the roommates cancel, the remaining traveling roommate will assume the cost of a single supplement. Standard cancellation terms apply to any cancellation.
Flights: It is important that you not purchase airfare until you receive a Confirmation Letter via email from Amazing Journeys. For this itinerary, flight parameters are as follows:
Cruise on December 26, 2026 – Arrive into Ft. Lauderdale or Miami– land in Ft. Lauderdale (airport code FLL) before 11am, or Miami (airport code MIA) before 10am on December 26. The ship sails at 3pm and everyone must be onboard at least two hours prior.
Return from Cruise on January 3, 2027 – depart from Ft. Lauderdale or Miami– leave from Ft. Lauderdale (airport code FLL) after 10am, or Miami (airport code MIA) after 11am on January 3.
Transfers: Transfers between the airport and the ship are not included. Transfers offered by Princess Cruises to both the Ft. Lauderdale and Miami airports will be available for a fee closer to the travel date. Transfers are available only on the ship’s departure and arrival dates. More information on cruise line transfers, taxis and ride shares will be provided closer to the travel date.
Pre-Cruise Hotel Recommendations:Amazing Journeys will be recommending two different hotels for those who would like to come in ahead of the cruise and stay at a hotel with others from the group. Please note that pre-night stays will not be staffed by Amazing Journeys. Our recommendations will be shared in the confirmation letter.
Port taxes, government fees & gratuities: Port taxes, government fees and gratuities (“crew appreciation”) have all been included in the rate. Taxes, surcharges, government fees and gratuities are subject to change. Should oil costs go above $65 per barrel and the cruise lines add fees, Amazing Journeys reserves the right to add them to the cost of the package. The cost will be no more than $10 per guest per day.
Group Dining: 6:00pm dining has been reserved for our group on this sailing. In addition to the main restaurant, there is a buffet, several specialty restaurants (fees apply), and room service (fees may apply).
Vaccines & Precautions: At this time there are no specific vaccinations required for international travelers. We recommend you visit a travel clinic or see your health professional to be sure you are up to date on vaccinations needed for international travel. Requirements can change at any time. Please note that our Amazing Journeys staff are not medical professionals and can therefore give you no further information on what vaccinations or medications you may need for this or any other tour.
