Welcome to Copenhagen! Upon your arrival, make your way to our group hotel. Most flights will arrive in the morning, so you can store your bags at our hotel and start your vacation! Stroll along the harbor and pedestrian streets, grab some lunch and enjoy all this city has to offer. This evening, we’ll enjoy dinner together at a local restaurant in the historic, picturesque Nyhavn district. (Dinner)
Thursday, July 9
After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey with a morning walking tour, beginning with Copenhagen’s historic waterfront. Stroll towards Amalienborg Palace, home of the Danish royal family, and take in the elegant square. Continue to the lush King’s Garden (Kongens Have), a beloved green retreat in the city center to admire the striking Renaissance architecture of Rosenborg Castle.
Walk through the charming Latin Quarter with its narrow streets and lively atmosphere. Discover hidden squares, colorful façades, and cozy cafés along the way. From there, head onto Strøget, Copenhagen’s famous pedestrian street.
Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy beautiful architecture, world-class shopping, street performers, and the city’s vibrant energy. Perhaps you’ll even visit Tivoli Gardens in the evening, when it is transformed into a magical wonderland with vibrant lights and atmospheric music, sparking a sense of wonder. (Breakfast)
Friday, July 10
This morning, our day will begin with a panoramic drive through Copenhagen. Pass by the grand City Hall Square, the bustling heart of the capital. Glide past Tivoli Gardens, the world-famous amusement park filled with history and charm. Cross the canals into Christianshavn, known for its colorful houses and maritime spirit.
Continue along the waterfront with striking views of modern and historic architecture. And of course no trip to Copenhagen would be complete without a visit to the city’s beloved icon, the Little Mermaid statue. Enjoy stories of Copenhagen’s past and present as we wind through scenic streets. Our tour concludes at the Oceania Marina, our home away from home for the next 10 nights. (Breakfast)

Pre-Nights: For those who want to arrive prior to the start of the tour, we have a limited number of rooms held at our group hotel. Please note – there will be no Amazing Journeys staff present, nor will there be programming on these days. Rates listed are per night and include taxes and breakfast daily. A deposit of $50 is due with your reservation of a pre-night.

Cancellation Policy: Prior to November 5, 2025, there is a $275 penalty for cancellation. From November 6, 2025 – February 2, 2026 the cancellation penalty is the amount of the deposit made for the cruise, pre-cruise, post-cruise and any additional hotel nights. From February 3 – March 2, 2026, the cancellation penalty is 25% of the total for the cruise package including pre-cruise, post-cruise and any additional hotel nights. From March 3 – April 3, 2025, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the total for the cruise package including pre-cruise, post-cruise and any additional hotel nights. From April 4 –May 4, 2026, the cancellation penalty is 75% of the total for the cruise package including pre-cruise, post-cruise and any additional hotel nights. From May 5, 2026 or after and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation after the start of the cruise and pre-cruise or any additional hotel nights booked. Your decision not to participate on the tour due to State Department advisories, fear of travel, illness or any other reason will be deemed a cancellation.
Travel Protection: Amazing Journeys recommends you purchase a travel protection plan. Information will be sent with your trip confirmation.
Proof of Citizenship: A passport is necessary to travel on this itinerary. It must be valid for six months beyond the last day of the trip. Visa requirements are changing for 2026 for EU and other non-EU countries. More information will be provided to you once we are closer to the sailing date. Please note that visa requirements can change at any time and it is up to the traveler to be aware of visa requirements.
This trip is for you: This trip is for you if you’re able to walk at a moderate pace, covering several miles on our pre-cruise and post-cruise packages and when taking our Amazing Journeys shore excursions. Walking or standing for 2-3 hours is very doable. You can navigate hills, stairs, uneven surfaces, and climb up and into various modes of transportation – including boats – independently. You can expect several early mornings and some longer days balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own adventure. You must be in good health and prepare properly. This trip is not a fit for those who require assistance with walking or who travel on mobility devices.
Vaccines & Precautions: At this time there are no specific vaccinations required for international travelers. We recommend visiting a travel clinic or see your health professional to be sure you are up to date on vaccinations needed for international travel. Requirements can change at any time. You can get more information at the following web site: Center for Disease Control. Please note that our Amazing Journeys staff are not medical professionals and therefore are unable to give specific information on vaccinations or medications you may need for this or any other tour.
Taxes, Fees & Gratuities: Port taxes, government fees and gratuities for all staff on the cruise have been included in the rate. Gratuities are not included for housekeeping staff in the hotels and tipping is at your discretion. Taxes, surcharges, gratuities and government fees are subject to change.
Flights: It is important that you not purchase airfare until you receive a Confirmation Letter from Amazing Journeys. Flights for this itinerary will be available after August 20, 2025.
Pre-Cruise Package – Arrive in Copenhagen, Denmark – land in Copenhagen’s Kastrup Airport (airport code CPH) before 2:00pm on July 8. Our first program will begin that evening.
Cruise – Arrive in Copenhagen, Denmark – land in Copenhagen’s Kastrup Airport (airport code CPH) before 1:00pm on July 10. You must board the ship no later than 3:00pm.
End of Cruise – Return from Stockholm, Sweden – depart from Stockholm’s Arlanda International Airport (airport code ARN) any time after 11:30am on July 20. Most flights will depart late at night.
Post-Cruise Package – Return from Stockholm, Sweden – depart from Stockholm’s Arlanda International Airport (airport code ARN) at any time on July 22.
Transfers: More information on transfers will be offered as we get closer to the sailing date.
Twin Accommodations: Twin accommodations are available if you and a friend are traveling together. Amazing Journeys takes no responsibility for roommate matching and is unable to step in to settle disputes or disagreements that may arise. When signing up for twin occupancy, should one of the roommates cancel their reservation or switch to a Single accommodation before the trip, the remaining traveling roommate will assume the cost of a single supplement. Fuel Surcharge: Should oil costs go above $65 a barrel and the cruise line adjusts the rate of the cruise or tour costs accordingly, we reserve the right to adjust the cost of the cruise/tour.
Exchange Rate: In the case of currency fluctuations greater than 3%, we reserve the right to adjust our pricing accordingly in order that we may be able to operate the cruise and tours effectively.
