Monday, July 20
After disembarking our ship, we’ll continue our exciting exploration of Sweden. Visit Drottningholm Palace, a stunning 17th-century royal residence and UNESCO World Heritage Site, nestled on the shores of Lake Mälaren. Our guided tour will lead us through this magnificent estate as it offers a rare glimpse into Sweden’s royal history – still home to the royal family today.
This afternoon we will check into our hotel, located in the heart of Stockholm. The rest of the afternoon and evening is yours to explore this wonderful city. Whether delving into history, shopping for special souvenirs, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, Stockholm is a captivating blend of culture, shopping, and timeless beauty. (Breakfast onboard)
Tuesday, July 21
Discover the magic of Stockholm’s past in the heart of Gamla Stan (Old Town), a vibrant medieval district that feels like stepping into a fairy-tale. This morning, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a walking tour as we explore the Old Town with its colorful buildings, narrow cobblestone streets and rich history. This enchanting area is home to iconic landmarks like the majestic Royal Palace and the world-renowned Nobel Museum. Next, we’ll take a boat to Djurgarden and uncover the legend of the Vasa, the world’s most impressive 17th-century warship, at Stockholm’s Vasa Museum. Here, we’ll take a guided tour. This breathtaking vessel, famously salvaged after sinking on its maiden voyage, is now the star of an unforgettable maritime experience. Explore its rich history, stunning craftsmanship and dramatic tale – a must-see for every visitor to Stockholm. This afternoon, enjoy some free time – perhaps you will visit one of the many museums nearby, explore the Royal Palace, walk through the famous City Hall with its painted murals and part of the Nobel Peace Prize celebrations, or enjoy walking around the city.
This evening, we will finish our experience in true Viking style. Enjoy dinner at a Nordic restaurant where ancient recipes come to life with a modern twist, offering a menu where every dish tells a story rooted in centuries-old tradition, yet expertly crafted with today’s culinary techniques. The Viking-inspired atmosphere creates an unforgettable dining experience. (Breakfast and dinner)

This morning our journey comes to an end as we say goodbye to Sweden and head back home with memories of our amazing journey. After breakfast, transfer on your own to the airport, based on the time of your flight home. (Breakfast)

Cancellation Policy: Prior to November 5, 2025, there is a $275 penalty for cancellation. From November 6, 2025 – February 2, 2026 the cancellation penalty is the amount of the deposit made for the cruise, pre-cruise, post-cruise and any additional hotel nights. From February 3 – March 2, 2026, the cancellation penalty is 25% of the total for the cruise package including pre-cruise, post-cruise and any additional hotel nights. From March 3 – April 3, 2025, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the total for the cruise package including pre-cruise, post-cruise and any additional hotel nights. From April 4 –May 4, 2026, the cancellation penalty is 75% of the total for the cruise package including pre-cruise, post-cruise and any additional hotel nights. From May 5, 2026 or after and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation after the start of the cruise and pre-cruise or any additional hotel nights booked. Your decision not to participate on the tour due to State Department advisories, fear of travel, illness or any other reason will be deemed a cancellation.
Travel Protection: Amazing Journeys recommends you purchase a travel protection plan. Information will be sent with your trip confirmation.
Proof of Citizenship: A passport is necessary to travel on this itinerary. It must be valid for six months beyond the last day of the trip. Visa requirements are changing for 2026 for EU and other non-EU countries. More information will be provided to you once we are closer to the sailing date. Please note that visa requirements can change at any time and it is up to the traveler to be aware of visa requirements.
This trip is for you: This trip is for you if you’re able to walk at a moderate pace, covering several miles on our pre-cruise and post-cruise packages and when taking our Amazing Journeys shore excursions. Walking or standing for 2-3 hours is very doable. You can navigate hills, stairs, uneven surfaces, and climb up and into various modes of transportation – including boats – independently. You can expect several early mornings and some longer days balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own adventure. You must be in good health and prepare properly. This trip is not a fit for those who require assistance with walking or who travel on mobility devices.
Vaccines & Precautions: At this time there are no specific vaccinations required for international travelers. We recommend visiting a travel clinic or see your health professional to be sure you are up to date on vaccinations needed for international travel. Requirements can change at any time. You can get more information at the following web site: Center for Disease Control. Please note that our Amazing Journeys staff are not medical professionals and therefore are unable to give specific information on vaccinations or medications you may need for this or any other tour.
Taxes, Fees & Gratuities: Port taxes, government fees and gratuities for all staff on the cruise have been included in the rate. Gratuities are not included for housekeeping staff in the hotels and tipping is at your discretion. Taxes, surcharges, gratuities and government fees are subject to change.
Flights: It is important that you not purchase airfare until you receive a Confirmation Letter from Amazing Journeys. Flights for this itinerary will be available after August 20, 2025.
Pre-Cruise Package – Arrive in Copenhagen, Denmark – land in Copenhagen’s Kastrup Airport (airport code CPH) before 2:00pm on July 8. Our first program will begin that evening.
Cruise – Arrive in Copenhagen, Denmark – land in Copenhagen’s Kastrup Airport (airport code CPH) before 1:00pm on July 10. You must board the ship no later than 3:00pm.
End of Cruise – Return from Stockholm, Sweden – depart from Stockholm’s Arlanda International Airport (airport code ARN) any time after 11:30am on July 20. Most flights will depart late at night.
Post-Cruise Package – Return from Stockholm, Sweden – depart from Stockholm’s Arlanda International Airport (airport code ARN) at any time on July 22.
Transfers: More information on transfers will be offered as we get closer to the sailing date.
Twin Accommodations: Twin accommodations are available if you and a friend are traveling together. Amazing Journeys takes no responsibility for roommate matching and is unable to step in to settle disputes or disagreements that may arise. When signing up for twin occupancy, should one of the roommates cancel their reservation or switch to a Single accommodation before the trip, the remaining traveling roommate will assume the cost of a single supplement. Standard cancellation terms apply to any cancellation.
Credit Card Payments: Rates listed are for final payments made by check. After the initial deposit, all payments made by credit card will have a 3% credit card fee.
Fuel Surcharge: Should oil costs go above $65 a barrel and the cruise line adjusts the rate of the cruise or tour costs accordingly, we reserve the right to adjust the cost of the cruise/tour.
Exchange Rate: In the case of currency fluctuations greater than 3%, we reserve the right to adjust our pricing accordingly in order that we may be able to operate the cruise and tours effectively.
