Day 1 – Saturday, December 23 – Singapore
Embark Celebrity Millennium, depart at 4 pm – Your Amazing Journeys Asia New Year’s cruise begins today! This evening, get to know your fellow travelers at our Amazing Journeys Welcome & Orientation, followed by a group dinner onboard our floating resort, Celebrity Millennium.
Day 2 – Sunday, December 24 – At Sea
Cruising – Today you’ll get to know your way around our ship and enjoy all you came on a cruise to do… relax poolside with your new friends while sipping a Singapore Sling, try your luck in the casino or enjoy the spa. Plus, we’ll have some group activities to make your day even more enjoyable. Our day at sea will provide lots of opportunities for great times on our floating resort. Tonight, join us for an Amazing Journeys gathering, followed by a group dinner.
Day 3 – Monday, December 25 – Phuket, Thailand
Arrive at 7 am – Thailand’s largest and most visited island, Phuket offers gorgeous beaches lined with palm trees plus fabulous coves and bays. From eye-opening museums to temples and shrines and whitewashed beaches to flashy nightclubs, you will experience another side of Thailand. Tour historic mansions and top off the day enjoying the extensive nightlife.
Day 4 – Tuesday, December 26 – Phuket, Thailand
Depart at 8 pm – Not only is Phuket home to dazzling beaches with turquoise waters but is a cultural scene different from the mainland. Even the food is different here – soulful, spicy Thai cooking collides with Chinese and Malay flavors and influences that will delight your taste buds. Amazing water sports include sailing or snorkeling while nature lovers will be thrilled by the tropical forests and waterfalls. This evening, partake in a variety of activities and dinner back onboard our floating resort.
Day 5 – Wednesday, December 27 – Langkawi, Malaysia
Arrive at 8 am, depart at 7 pm – Let your imagination soar among the many magical myths and legends surrounding the 99 islands of Langkawi. Replete with ancient geological wonders like mysterious caves and mist-enrobed mountains, this is a spectacular tropical paradise. The Pulau Payar Marine Park, located about 19 miles south of Langkawi, has everything from long, sandy white beaches and crystal-clear water to lush rain forests and exotic vegetation. The park includes an underwater coral garden where you can swim and snorkel amidst multi-colored fish. Onboard, we’ll come together for an Amazing Journeys cocktail party followed by an entertaining show in the theater and late night dancing.
Day 6 – Thursday, December 28 – Penang, Malaysia*
Arrive at 7 am – Often called the “Pearl of the Orient,” this northern gateway to Malaysia is the country’s oldest British settlement. Although this city is best known for its breathtaking beaches, sites such as Khoo Kongsi, a well-preserved ancestral Chinese clan house and the Butterfly Farm, the world’s first tropical live butterfly exhibition, are must-sees on the list for this amazing destination. Also visit Kek Lok Si Temple, one of the finest Buddhist temples in Southeast Asia featuring among other things, a tortoise sanctuary. We are docked overnight which gives us the opportunity to explore this incredible city at night.
Day 7 – Friday, December 29 – Penang, Malaysia*
Depart at 4:30 pm – Penang is known to be the link between Asia’s great kingdoms and to the markets of Western Asia and Europe. At its heart is diverse, cosmopolitan George Town, Penang Island’s main city center that offers the feel of old-world Asia with trishaws pedaling past Chinese shops with smoke perfuming the air. Modern culture are present, too, in the exceptional art scene and free-spirited carnivals, all fueled by local enthusiasm for Penang’s kaleidoscope of cultures and long history. Tonight, join with our Amazing Journeys community for a Shabbat gathering, followed by a group dinner.
Day 8 – Saturday, December 30 – Port Klang (Kuala Lumpur), Malaysia
Arrive at 7 am, depart at 5 pm – Less than an hour from the port is bustling Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s modern capital city. It rose up from the forbidding jungle terrain to become one of the most fascinating architectural landscapes on earth. A blend of native Malaysian, Chinese Imperial and European influences has created a city that is as breathtakingly beautiful as it is alive with culture. Kuala Lumpur has earned a reputation as a must-see world destination. Back onboard, enjoy sunset as we sail away. After, the ship is our playground as we enjoy the many activities available onboard.
Day 9 – Sunday, December 31 – At Sea
Cruising – While at sea, take the time to recharge before the next adventure. Spend the last day of the year in full vacation mode by lounging by the pool, spoiling yourself at the spa or learning something new in an onboard lecture. This evening, celebrate New Year’s Eve onboard our floating resort where parties abound! Grab a glass of champagne, hop on the dance floor with your friends and celebrate while sailing into 2024!
Day 10 – Monday, January 1 – At Sea
Cruising – Start the new year off on the right foot with a relaxing or invigorating day at sea! Join us for Team Trivia or a Slot Tournament in the Casino. Enjoy learning about the different destinations with on board enrichment programs or de-stress with a hot stone massage. Choose to do it all, or nothing at all. It’s your vacation, and we want you to enjoy it as you please! Enjoy the beauty as we sail through the ocean.
Day 11 – Tuesday, January 2 – Celukan Bawang, Bali, Indonesia*
Arrive at 10:30 am, depart at 10 pm – Immerse yourself in Bali’s deep cultural roots with a visit to the old historic capital of Singaraja. Here, Dutch colonial architecture and Balinese beauty blend seamlessly. Discover hundreds of wild tropical bird species and reef fish in West Bali National Park. Learn about traditional Balinese customs and culture in the hill village of Munduk, surrounded by waterfalls and mountain trails and close to Bali’s most famous temple, Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, set in a peaceful lake. We have a late departure this evening, giving us many extra hours to experience the city at night.
Day 12 – Wednesday, January 3 – Lombok, Indonesia
Arrive at 7 am, depart at 9 pm – On the serene Indonesian island of Lombok, you’ll find that time seems to stand still. From breathtaking tropical waterfalls like Tiu Kelep to towering volcanoes and the coconut-strewn sandy beaches of the Gili Islands, unspoiled nature and beautiful landscapes abound here. The people of Lombok are known for their hospitality and their synchronicity with the natural world. You’ll find amazing island surf spots next to welcoming fishing villages, hikes through rainforests, secluded beaches, coral reefs, and superb day spas where you can try traditional treatments. Rejuvenate your spirit and marvel at the lush natural beauty of Indonesia. Come together this evening for our Amazing Journeys Farewell event before our group dinner.
Day 13 – Thursday, January 4 – Benoa, Bali, Indonesia
Arrive at 6 am – Bali is a bucket-list destination that’s home to some of the most breathtaking beaches in the world, rich culture and traditions, and an incredible fusion of cuisines. Our cruise ends here, but your experience doesn’t have to – continue with us on our amazing Bali Post-Cruise! If you have to end your journey here, fly home taking memories of amazing sites and scenes from Southeast Asia, plus friendships to last a lifetime.

Cancellation Policy for Cruise, Pre-Cruise and Post-Cruise: Prior to August 1, 2023, there is a $100 penalty for cancellation. From August 2 – September 12, 2023, the cancellation penalty is the amount of the deposit for the cruise, pre-cruise and post-cruise packages. From September 13 – October 9, 2023, the cancellation penalty is 25% of the cruise, pre-cruise, post-cruise packages and any reserved extra hotel nights. From October 10 – 23, 2023, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the total for the cruise and pre-cruise, post-cruise packages and any reserved extra hotel nights. From October 24 – November 21, 2023, the cancellation penalty is 75% of the total for the cruise and pre-cruise, post-cruise packages and any reserved extra hotel nights. Cancellations made on November 22, 2023 or after and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation after the start of the cruise. pre-cruise and post-cruise packages or extra nights reserved. Your decision not to participate on the tour due to State Department advisories, fear of travel, illness, or any other reason will be deemed a cancellation.
Travel Protection: A Travel Protection Plan is highly recommended. Information will be included in your confirmation letter.
Passport & Visa Requirements: All passengers must present a valid passport (valid for six months beyond the last date of travel) to board the vessel. At the current time, there are no visas required for US, Canadian, UK or Australian citizens entering Singapore, Thailand or Malaysia. There may be an online no-cost visa required for Indonesia. We will have more information available as we get closer to our travel date. If you are from a country other than those mentioned, please check with the Embassies of Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia to find out if a visa is necessary. Please note that visa information is subject to change at any time and it is up to the individual traveling to stay current on visa requirements.
COVID Precautions: Until further notice, we require you to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 at least two weeks before departure, and a booster is recommended to keep you healthy and safe while traveling but at this time, not required. Please send us a copy of your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card with the CDC logo or digital Covid pass by email or fax to Amazing Journeys. We do not test for COVID-19 or any other diseases. It is up to each traveler to be aware of any requirements or changes to state and country mandates and airline requirements as they are changing often. Depending upon the situation at the time of this trip and the destination, some cruise components may be modified, and masks may be required as determined by the CDC.
Port Taxes, Government Fees & Gratuities: Port taxes, government fees and gratuities have all been included in the rate. Port taxes, government fees and gratuities are subject to change. Should oil costs go above $65 per barrel and the cruise lines add fees, Amazing Journeys reserves the right to add them to the cost of the package. The cost will be no more than $10 per guest per day.
Air & Transfers: Airfare has not been included in the cruise rates. Optional transfers for those arriving and departing on cruise arrival and departure dates to and from the ship will be available and details sent closer to the sailing date. Fly into Singapore (SIN) for the start of the cruise or the pre-cruise package. Fly home from Bali, Indonesia (DPS) after the cruise or the post-cruise package. Flight parameters will be sent with your confirmation.
Dining: Late Dining has been reserved for our group on this sailing. In addition to the main restaurant, there is a buffet, several specialty restaurants (fees apply), and room service (fees may apply).
