What are you waiting for?
Feb 27, 2026

How many trips have you talked about but never taken?
The river cruise you bookmarked.
The Italy tour you almost reserved.
The national parks trip you said you’d “do someday.”
If the last few years have taught us anything, it’s this: someday has a way of slipping by.
We talk to so many people who want to travel – truly want to go – but they’re waiting. Waiting for a friend to commit. Waiting for schedules to align. Waiting for someone to retire. Waiting for the “right” time.
Here’s the truth: the right time rarely announces itself.

So what happens if we say that 2026 is the year of intention? We’re hearing from more travelers that they’re done postponing. They’re choosing the trip, even if no one else in their life is ready to go.
But here’s the good news: going “solo” doesn’t mean going alone.
Group travel for singles is one of the best ways to see the world. You can have your own space. You can have your own room. You can make decisions on how you want to spend your free time. But you also have built-in dinner companions, shared experiences, and people who understand exactly why you’ve waited so long to stand in front of that artifact, that glacier, that sunset. This is exactly the experience that Amazing Journeys offers!
No coordinating flights with five friends.
No worrying about who wants to visit the same countries.
No feeling guilty for wanting to take a longer trip.
Just you saying yes!

We’ve watched friendships form over welcome dinners. We’ve seen nervous first-time solo travelers become confident, seasoned adventurers by the end of a trip. We’ve had guests tell us, “I almost didn’t come, but I’m so glad I did!”
That’s the magic of deciding not to wait.
So, if there’s a destination tugging at you, pay attention to that. If you’ve been saying, “Maybe next year,” consider this your sign. If you decide that you’re ready to do something for yourself, listen up:
2026 doesn’t have to be the year you talk about travel – it can be the year you take the trip! And you don’t have to do it alone.
Next step: take a look at our upcoming trips and decide which adventure you’re saying “yes” to next!
